    it could happen.

if ward beats miranda and puts off fighting froch (ie not wanting to travel to UK)

and if kessler is willing to give up WBA title

if either can delay their mandatories with perhaps step aside money

if palle aren't stopping kessler from fighting, it could happen

froch KO'd a top fighter in taylor, end of. did it away from home, did it with an injury (eye ulcer) that threatened the fight, beat a rare super middle who had middleweight speed, did it in his first title defence FFS. don't write off improvements that froch can make. no other super middle has taken the risks he has.

well, let's wait and see then re froch v kessler. i doubt the outcome is so simple

kessler an excellent boxer with a superb judgement of distance between him and the opponent

however kessler is not mobile, and will have to step in range of the slugger froch to get his shots off

    kessler can fade late also

Eye ulcer my ass. Froch got outclassed by yes a top level fighter who has 2 big weaknesses. Taylor didnt finish froch off while he had the chance like with pavlik and then gassed in the last rounds. Froch won? yes he did and congrats to him for that but who was the better boxer on the night? Jermain by a long shot.

You're not saying Pascal is a better win than Andrade or Beyer are you?

I think Froch could hurt Kessler and if so then obviously he's got a chance but I'd give Kessler an 80% chance of winning. Certainly don't see how Froch can win on points. Kudos to him for taking the fight if it comes off though.

I think there is a big question mark against Kessler's heart. He whines and complains about Palle and all the strife he's going through but if his heart was in boxing and making a name for himself, he'd be getting the fights under his belt and not riding around Monaco on his motorbike like some playboy.

At least Froch is trying to make things happen unlike Kessler who has probably already peaked won't be able to maintain his fitness due to a lack of activity and drive. The guy is a big waste of talent.

I see Froch getting owned in this fight, his defense sucks. Kessler is probably just as good a boxer if not better than Taylor (who was winning the fight against Froch till he got starched), but his conditioning is way better than Taylors'.

i haven't heard anything about this even being talked about but it's fair to say that if team palle balks at this fight kessler is going to wake up finally.

let's see how serious this rumour is first.

by the way i owe froch kudos for the taylor win - as i promised i would do.

Kessler surely has enough boxing skill to outbox the lethargic Froch, Froch only claim to fame was winning a vacant belt vs Jean Pascal and being outboxed by a 160lbs six rounder fighter. Props to him for the Taylor knockout but c'mon, 15 seconds later and Froch would already be history.

I just heard Calzaghe say that Froch should stop calling him out because he is retired. What a hypocrite. JC called Otkke out in Germany after the Veit fight when Sven was retired.

He called out a retired Steve Collins as well.

I like Froch and hope this fight will come through, but I don't see Froch winning a single round.
