Loma does sell the fouls to the referee because he learned early if you say nothing you will get hit 100 times in the nuts.

Rigo was ducking to waist level which is illegal and holding excessively, when his cheating tactics to survive were taken he quit.

I do blame bad refereeing but excessive holding has always been illegal and so has ducking that low has always been illegal and i have no idea why boxers would be training to incorporate cheating into there gameplan

The point deduction was uncalled for. He held his arms once got warned , did it again and got deducted. There was no excessive holding going on. Loma was able to wrestle his arms free just fine so the ref should have let them at it.
Rigo was guilty for ducking low , but not for illegally holding.

Heck, I know British and Canadian women who've declined moves to the US, reasoning that it'd be irresponsible to take their kid out of a country that has a universal healthcare system and into one that doesn't. Seems plausible that the guy would want to try to make his fortune before taking his family out of a country that provides healthcare and education for free. For all his talent, I wouldn't want to have been stuck with his lot in life or to have been given his choices.

I was just referring to a general impression. It's hard to know too much at all about Rigo. An understandably guarded individual.

Clinchsko is a joke. I still think he would have been good had he not been allowed to hold so much, but he wouldn't have been as untouchable. He would have probably gotten his chin cracked before Joshua and not been able to continue. I was glad he fought well against Joshua so he could pass the torch on.

Indeed. I've not made a judgement either way. He knows his motivations and I couldn't even really begin to speculate.

What I do know is though isbtuat the Cuban government make life pretty uncomfortable for the families of defectors so they have had a cross to bear.

This was also another funny moment. Don't know if anybody else caught it, but it made me laugh. Go to the 26:25 mark. Cecilio Flores puts a crown on Loma and Anatoly snatches that crap off of his head real quick. Worth a watch.

    Exactly what I said!

Chenko held more against Salido and was not penalized. The penalty was way early. The main factor here is that He was so much stronger than his opponent here that when they grappled it looked like Rigo was wrestling a bull. All that throwing and bucking made the ref panic.

Not that it would have made a difference, too much youth and strength.

The way he death-gripped Loma’s arms was rather impressive.

Loma was jerking and pulling and pivoting but nothing could get those hands free.

    Rigo an ATG holder.

I wouldn't know if the image is a forgery to make him look bad (I don't follow Rigo, don't pay much attention to Twitter), but I was of the understanding that Rigo has people tweet for him in English from his verified account.
