Since when did passing anti-doping protocols mean that you were "clean"?

I’m not 100% sure but the implication seems to be that the testing is of such low quality, done as cheaply as possible, that cross contamination is happening. The strange thing is that there is one particular test team (really person) that seems to be involved in most of the false positive cases. Will be interesting to see how this develops because in this case the governing body of MotoGP is taking WADA to the CAS court to overturn its ruling

It was closer to ten since Wilder was 220 for the Ortiz rematch and 230 for the Fury one. Still, it's impossible to even gain five pounds of lean muscle mass in such a short time unless you juice, and Wilder was just as lean at 230 as he was at 220 so that's extremely suspect.

As for Fury, yeah he looked noticeably bulkier and harder, and given his history I don't doubt that he took a little something extra as well. Not really an issue for me either way, but I'm not going to give a toss about any smokescreeny clean test results. They don't affect me one iota.

Yeah, no sport regularly combo punches its fans in the balls quite so much as boxing. It's the Andrew Golota of sports.

But when it's good, ooh boy.

They are not clean. All pros are roided up. They are just good in flushing steroids out of the system.

It's remarkable that the WBC haven't issued a belt for the best at this.

    Totally agree with you.

It`s around 20 pounds since the first fight with Fury. But its even more suspect to go from 220 in 230, completely lean in just 3 months time, cause from Ortiz 2 to Fury 2, the time between this 2 fights its 3 months and this is with the rest, recovery and so on. Its impossible to do it without juice.
Its very hard to train martial arts, esp boxing(i mean regularly) and trying to gain size. The problem comes from the recovery. These guys are doing 2x training daily, probably 6 days at week. No way your body recover that quickly, unless you are on roids. No matter how good diet and supplements are. And with age its becoming harder, because your metabolism slow down with age.
It could be possible if Wilder was 25 years old, but not at 34.
And with Fury is obvious as well.
I think he totally f***** up the scheme against Wallin, but against Wilder he got it allright.

Well thank you for opening my eyes to this. I thought WADA went a bit further than just urine, I thought they were at least doing blood tests. Unreal.

True. People that spend all their time and effort training to gain muscle mass can't achieve that naturally, so why the hell do we expect a boxer doing cardio, sparring, pad drills and the like to achieve it drug free? It's a nonsense. And a boxer that's naturally lean and prone to hovering around the 215-220 mark in his mid thirties to boot. Not to mention his brother's positive test. Oh, but he passed VADA so he's completely clean. Yeah, right.

Staggers me how people can still be so naïve as to believe this stuff.

    That's a very good post.

It all comes down to logic. Which makes more money?, the actual fights/fighters or the testing procedures/labs?. Serious money and sponsorship will always shower towards what makes more money in return. Testing requires serious research and doesn't provide jack in return. That's why you have endless varieties for performance enhancers with dirt cheap prices, mid-range prices and premium prices while testing barely has any variations or alternatives out there.

Poor guy must be a FlIVd fan he must've mistaken the corrupt USADA with VADA.
