I swear Tyson Fury is the most under-rated fighter on this forum.

No foregone conclusion against Wlad but I believe the fight will turn out like a high-level Thompson vs Price.

If Wlad is forced to go looking and fight at a pace higher than he likes he'll get stopped in mid-late rounds for me. I see no reason why an on-point Fury doesn't make Wlad look ordinary for the first time in years.

This fight will be decided by the greater natural talent of Fury IMO. Although if Wlad lands big rights and those text book left hooks he could well take TF out.

    70/30 Fury for me.

Not on his best day and coinciding with Klitschko's worst.

Thanks for the input Butch! I expect no less of a split of opinion for this fight and it is certainly a great match-up.

Get your money on Wlad and may the best man win.

I know people see it differently and I wouldn't have it any other way, I'll just point people to the last round against Povetkin and watch when Wlad gets hit as he goes close looking for the knockout, he looks for a second like a blind man drowning in treacle! Ha ha ha, if the shots start firing on the inside against Fury, ol' man Wlad is getting sparked.

Manny Stewart (RIP) knew T Fury was the man waiting in the wings to take the belts and unless Wlad somehow avoids it, Fury's taking them all home IMO.

Watch what Cunningham did to Fury and keep in mind, Klitschko is a wrecking ball compared to Cunningham's featherduster.

I know, I saw Cunningham get schooled by a 1st gear Fury. It was a flash knock-down and, let's get it straight, nowhere near as bad as Wlad has had it at times!

Fury is such a different kettle of fish to Wlad, he's emotional, up and down and inconsistent. He was talking WWE wrestler trash to Cunningham and chucking a jab in his face in the first round, Fury couldn't give a fu¢k and only started fighting pretty half-heartedly and s****py after the knock-down. Still got his man out of there and sang a song after ha ha....

I'd add another 50% onto the version of Fury who was teeing off with combinations on K Johnson and that's the person Wlad will be facing. Hence I see Wlad in too deep and getting stopped.

Wlad is old and way past his prime, but fury is featherfisted arm puncher, so I still see Wlad stopping fury. Wlad from 2008 would def KO Fury of today . Wilder also knocks fury out.

No offence gdm but this is what I mean by chronic under-rating of Fury.

He gets great torque on his south-paw uppercut ffs and you think him an 'arm-puncher'???

I highly doubt Wlad feels the same and I'm sure he'd be 10x as confident of a W over Wilder.

I think Fury is underrated for a few reasons

    1. He's been put down
    2. He acts the clown
    3. He don't always look in good shape
    4. He don't always perform that great

    BUT

    the counters to that are

    1. He has always got up and won ( travellers don't get knocked out ! lol )
    2. So what...the after fight singing is brilliant
    3. He's a big lad, but he gets in a lot better shape than a lot of HWs
    4. He is still young, but I think he is maturing now he realises every fight is huge, earlier on he either didn't train so hard or didn't respect the opponent believing that he could win one way or another

Fury is great for the HW division

I bet Haymon would love him on his books too on a few PBC shows
