If u ain't cheating u ain't trying #teamfury Tyson still gets wrecked by either klitshko though. He probably stumbles against pulev too, but the kid just turned 24 give him time to fill out
The way I saw it was comparable to a golfer picking the ball up and putting it on a tee, he would have hit but it would have been less clean if he didn't force cunninghams chin up. However what I described is highly illegal, this was just putting **** more in his favour. It's ridiculous, a Tyson ****ing Fury thread, bring up Mayweather, a guy a whole 100 lbs lighter!
No, Cunningham wasn't trying to hold. He had his gloves up, against the ropes, and Fury pushed his forearm over Cunningham's eyes, completely blocking his eyesight, then dropped him with the right. That was dirty.
Fury forearmed him across the face with his left arm, then ko him with the right. Not the worst I've seen, but not clean
Pretty disgraceful Way I saw it, Fury had no answer for Cunningham's movement and was getting outboxed and tagged with some hard shots too Cunningham wasn't ready to go. He had really good movement bobbing out of the way as Fury came forward. If anything he was little tired because Fury had been sticking his elbow in his face for 4 rounds. There was a good example about a round before the KO where he almost broke his neck pushing his head right back with his elbow. Fury had to cheat in order to close down the ring and deal with Cunningham's movement. He pushed him repeatedly before the KO backing him up in the corner them pushed his head back with his elbow and set up the punch. It was the only way he could set up his punches. Should have been DQd. Reckon the ref would have had words if Cunningham hadn't gone down. Looked like a rabbit caught in the headlights didn't know what to do so started counting but he didn't get up
Err, unless I was watching a completely different fight and my memory is ****ed, Cunningham hit Fury at least twice after the bell had gone. And he's a bad loser.
Yes it was dirty. The guy was fighting a cruiser he had 40lb on and still couldnt win fair. It should never have happened anyway - Ed Cotton should have been straight in and warning Fury for shoving before he even used the forearm.
I dont care either way that he was able to KO a guy who didn't evcen have a chin at CW! The fact is he almost got KO'd himself by a dude thats way past his prime and couldn't even hurt people at CW!! Fury is a glass jawed joke that will be finished very soon if he fights anyone decent that can punch who isn't shot to ****. Fury does nothing particularly well other than leaning on mofos to tire them out, he's sloppy, no d, no power, no chin....just big. he sucks.
Compare the two knockdowns. Cunningham lands a clean right hand and down he goes. After that Fury fought both ugly and illegal. Furys knockout was a forearm setup and hit. A real shame though seeing the cards if Steve got up and fought on he may have gotten jobbed on the cards again. The Stevens fight too before this was a rob btw.
It was clearly illegal. He pushed him into a corner, which is illegal, then uses his forearm to break Cunninghams guard and pins him into the corner and prevents him from being able to move his head to slip the right hand. But this is a fight, fighters bend the rules all the time. It wasn't nasty or dirty per se but of course against the rules and Cunningham had nothing left at that point he was getting mauled by the much bigger man and the body shot took what little resistance he had left. We've seen fighter do much worse over the years.
Just a little bending of the rules, nothing we haven't seen before. Cunningham was ready to go at any point. He'd been winded by the bodyshot and was already crumpling up and getting caught clean by uppercuts. He would have gone down at some point and there wasn't much chance of him getting up again regardless. Point is, Fury's forearm didn't rob Cunningham of a win; it just ended things a little sooner and a little more dramatically than would otherwise have happened.
