Oh, yeah, totally, bro. You'll be pelted with rotten fruit from left and right. That's such an edgy opinion on here, after all.
Exactly this,Paris said she thinks Tyson would be back for the winner of Usyk v Joshua as long as he is not kept waiting or messed about.
I don’t think Chisora was faded. His second best performance was vs Usyk and his very next fight was his best performance vs Parker. Anyway, Usyk has shown he has more issues vs smaller guys than bigger guys. Think: Usyk vs Briedis (6’1) 116-112 Usyk vs Bellew (6’2) KO but roughly even on the cards (67-66 either way) Usyk vs Chisora (6’1) (117-111 but Chisora legitimately had him running) Usyk vs Hunter (6’2) (118-110 but Usyk was troubled at the beginning of the fight) Usyk vs Joshua (6’6) (118-10 or 117-111 but Usyk easily won every round he didn’t take off) Usyk vs Gassiev (6’4) (120-108 Usyk, absolute clinic.) Fury has been dropped by Usyk sized opponents twice and was arguably beat by one far earlier in his career. He’s avoiding fighting him for a reason.
What is true as that he won't be fighting anymore boxers before he faces the winner of AJ vs Usyk as It simply makes no business sense to fight anyone else out there. It is pretty much impossible for Fury to get matched up with the winner before this time next year so he might as well retire and have some fun with wrestling and UFC - it is a smart move as they both raise his profile in non boxing circles. Fury vs AJ or Usyk will happen next year. Everything that is happening is just the start of the build up.
Fury even indicated Chisora was faded before they rematched So you don't think Chisora was faded from over 6 years where after the 2nd Fury loss, (which is after losing to Fury, Vitali, Helenius and a bad KO from Haye. All tough fights) where he suffered a bad loss to Fury, had had 2 draining fights with Whyte, lost to Pulev, lost to kabayel, had a tough fight with takam and 16 fights between the two respective fights Just because he has had some good performances doesn't mean he hasn't aged or faded. That's like saying Foreman was not faded because he had a good performance against Holyfield
100% means an absolute certainty. As in you factually know it to be true. Which makes this thread a total load of tosh.
He should have gotten the win vs Helenius easily. And anyway, losing early on and then coming back and giving your best fights later is evidence that you weren't at your best early in your career. Your logic is silly, it's like saying Wlad was faded by 2006 because he had been KOd by Saunders, Brewster and Purrity. Sure, he did lose, but then he came back and didn't lose for 11 1/2 years.
If Fury retires and does not fight Usyk he is ducking no one, firstly he retires as a champion with a undefeated record, he retires with a wealth that is beyond most folks dreams, he retires with braincells in tact and as far as we know in good physical health, that is not ducking that is smart thinking and enjoying the fruits of his labour. Could he beat AJ or Usyk for the undisputed title, yes a distinct possibility, especially as it would be a fight he was motivated for, but I don't think Fury sees it as the most important thing, he believes he is a legend and best in world as it is, are a few belts going to strengthen his belief I think not.
Neither AJ or Usyk could beat Fury. While AJ has enough power to be dangerous he's afraid to use it. Usyk does not have enough power at heavyweight to get rid of Fury. Fury has a 85 in reach and Usyk 78. Usyk won't get close enough to win rounds. Simple physics. I don't think Fury will retire now but if he does it isn't because he is afraid of anybody. I hope he fights the winner of AJ vs Usyk. Going out undisputed would be really impressive.
