Yeah Lol what a shambles. Just finished watching the live feed. The only interesting thing is that Tom Loeffler as well as Franks wallet (Bill Ives) are all together so hopefully they can discuss

Matchroom have exclusivity on Sky Sports and Sky Sports box office.

Fury v Wlad is on a PPV channel which isn't sky sports meaning all the promotion you see for Sky Sports Box office events wont happen for this fight.

Sky don't even mention it's available to buy the fight on PPV on the report of the press conference today.

Like you said it's a fight on boxnation PPV channel which is available on the sky platform

Has nothing to do with sky box office

I think it might work to a degree. If people can order it 2 weeks in advance, it certainly makes the net wider. It will certainly need a big push marketing wise. If people are aware of it, I think a proportion will purchase it, as boxnations issue is the subscription process which inst the easiest, this somewhat overcomes that issue.

This thread is as clear as mud. I'm guessing its just a one night Box nation sub right?

I think it's a great thing for Warren's fighters and box nation fighters to gain exposure and money. It's obviously not going to be as illustrious as sky sports box office, neither financially nor commercially but it's the next best thing and is a boost for those fighters and promoters.

The key is the promotional end of things. If they can somehow get sky to help with the promotion it could be a huge success. Give sky a cut of the money and why wouldn't they help promote it?

If this is a success it evens the playing field a little which is what british boxing needs. The sky sports exclusitivity thing with matchroom isn't good for british boxing as it dilutes Eddie's competition. Competition is always good for customers (the fans) as it means promoters can battle eachother to put on the best and most competetive cards.

If succesful, this will also help Warren, Hennesy etc lure big name fighters to the UK to take on their own which again can only be a good thing for british boxing. For example, this could help bring GGG to the UK to fight BJS which is the most competetive fight out there for GGG after Canelo.

Really hope this is a success. I'm not a fan of any promoter or chanell, I just want boxing to do as well as it can and if Box Nation can start doing PPV numbers that resemble Sky Sports PPV numbers, that can only be good for British boxing.

Anyone who says otherwise is only an idiot fanboy with an agenda, rather than a boxing fan.

How did that work out before? It was a total mess with **** poor cards most weeks. Leisure centre fights and the competition did nothing to improve the situation.

Will Sky promote it? Sky have there own PPV to sell in November with Joshua. I don't think they want to be taking potential money from people for somebody else's PPV.

For big fights like this it's worth it.. anyway I'm getting rid of my Sky TV for a NOW TV box.. BN and stuff is always available on the official streams and all that.. Sky getting a bit too expensive for now.. £75 a month I had a good run..

But I'm still keeping the shitty £7.50 a month Sky Broadband.. it's the cheapest around..
