We aren't entirely sure if Sky do get a cut of the revenue- it could just be that the fee unencrypts the HD channel for the night.

Even if Sky were to get a cut I suspect it wouldn't be promoted on Sky Sports News because Hearn would kick off.

    Interesting times.

I've got a youview box through talktalk. Sky sports is currently available for £11 and BN for £12 a month. Pay about £45 a month in total including calls and internet. Alot cheaper than sky

Boxnation should have done this years ago, means they can get more viewers for the bigger fights and maybe this option gives them more chance to sign some better talent. Competition is healthy.

So it's not the first PPV.. it's the same as all the others being £30.. expect this time the price might be lower to suit the demand ratio..

Or it is actually on SBO technically.. but not exclusive.. so Sky/BN/Promoters are all sharing a cut if bought on SBO..

It's not on sky box office dude. Boxnation box office is just an independent channel on sky platform.

But yeah I guess boxnation pays sky a flat fee or sky get a cut of the PPV buy rate from BN for using their platform.

So first time on SBO.. but not the first time you can order BN for one night.. via apps and the website..

But wasn't Kovalev/Pascal on SBO or something?

    And surely Canelo/Smith is PPV @ £30?

It probably just means an even split this time and advertised as Boxnation Box Office.. but previous fights has been on Sky Box Office PPV and BN Freeview has been around since the beginning of 2016..

If people on Sky sign up to Boxnation for a month then canel they will be saving money, even with the £8 connection fee.

    Or am I missing something?

No because it's likely to be under £20 I think it was mentioned.. or it could £20 the same..
