I don't know if I agree with you about it being too soon for Fury. McDermott has only ever looked good in the first Williams fight in my opinion and even then it was only controversial because of the amount of points Danny had deducted. I think Fury wins in 7 or 8. However, it could bring him too far up the rankings if he wins and then he could end up being embarrassed by someone he shouldn't have faced for another 2 years.
i reckon fury will get this quite comfortably. mcdermott won't have the same success as he had against DW in the first fight.
He was coming off of an injury and couldn't get the fight he wanted (against the Russian with the moniker: the molecule form hell). He looks a little tubby sometimes, but I do not question the motivation of someone who has had seven fights in seven months. That is how George Foreman did it in his comeback. some guys know that they have problems in the gym, and compensate by figthing a lot.
12th is a Saturday. I think I'll make a day of seeing my team Everton at Fulham then go to this later thta night.
The fights on Friday sept 11th at the brentwood centre Was meant to be at york hall then it was moved to crystal palace and now its in essex. Mvmuffins home soil!!! got my ticket. Hope Fury spanks the fat boy
This is a good fight for Fury and McDermott too. Maloney is putting together a god card if it all holds together. I'm definitley heading to this one.
