Fury got around £ 20M for each of Whyte and Chisora fights. Now he knows he can get £ 20M per fight for fighting journey men. So, why should he risk his current status fighting Usyk? He gets £ 50M for fighting Usyk, and will definitely lose to him, and lose his status. Or he can continue fighting mediocre opposition and continue getting paid £20 M for each fight. With Ngannou not getting any more attention by being in the UFC his clock is sort of ticking. AJ, Fury or Wilder will be announcing a fight with that fellow within the next 60 days. I sorta think that the dude deserves a payday.
