I only think the undefeated stat counts for something if you're consistently facing elite competition. There is context beneath the figures, so to speak (any fighter, not just Fury). I think he should mostly be celebrated for his historic win (abroad) vs Wlad and his exciting trilogy with Wilder. And he has displayed ATG qualities at times (e.g. rising from the brink of defeat in Wilder 1). However, he has done so much to damage his reputation in recent years by not fighting the other big names of his era. And taking part in meaningless money fights. I think he squandered his potential, the momentum he was building and the goodwill of many fans. So any praise of him must come with a big caveat, from me. I hope he finishes the job.
Mitch’s algorithm imploded when a shot to pieces old version of Luis Ortiz who wilder KOd twice years earlier, went life and death for twelve with fat Andy Ruiz who kod Joshua. which is coincidentally around the time when the far snidier Dramashow character appeared on the scene
Yes. The ongoing Wilder-Ruiz triangulation is a bullet in the heart of the @Mitch87 propaganda. Wilder vs Ruiz: mutual opponent CV calculator Wilder KO3 Morales, Ruiz 59-55 Morales Wilder KO103 seconds Liakhovich, Ruiz 98-92 Liakhovich Wilder RTD8 Arreola, Ruiz 118-109 Arreola Wilder KO10 and KO7 Ortiz, Ruiz 114-111 Ortiz Ruiz was also the A-side in all of these fights and fought these fighters after Wilder had KO'd them, losing more rounds than Wilder did too. But in fairness to Ruiz he did drop Joshua 4 times and make him quit in 7. Will Wilder make it 5/5 by beating Ruiz-conqueror Parker?
