His resume isn't any good. A win over Usyk shines it up. A terrible showing against Ngannou really made him look bad. Especially when that fight should have been against Usyk. The reality is, since the Vlad fight, Fury should have rematched Vlad, clean out the division and have 12 title defenses at least. He could have done that and finish with Usyk. Best HW of our era against the best CW. Both retire after.

I'm not sure "isn't any good" is completely fair... But it sure isn't as good as it should've been.

He should've rematched Wlad clean (ie: off PEDs) and cleaned out the division, agreed.

Having retired returned, he should've fought the best in the division - instead he made a beeline for the obvious fraud...

Fury's resume is okay all things considered - but if he's as good as he claims (or as his fans claim) then he should've done a lot more to prove it.

He is better than Valuev but he isn’t really that good. Division is a joke

Isn't any good when comparing resume to the ATG's. He had the potential to have an ATG resume by just fighting twice a year since the 1st Vlad fight. 15-16 defenses. Could have beat all the top 10 guys twice by now. LOL

    Completely agree.

It's no good for making a case that he's ATG... In that sense, I can't disagree whatsoever.

It's not bad overall, but "not bad" does not an ATG make.

You conveniently forget that AJ turned the fight down multiple times. They would have fought by now otherwise. Haye also pulled out twice.
So Fury would have ended up with Wlad., Wilder, AJ, Haye, Usyk and the others.

Of course AJ is now a hero because he beat Wallin recently and avoids Wilder again to take on the mma fighter that people think is a worthy fight suddenly. Also we find out that Kabayel is a great fight for people despite him being a terrible opponent for Fury a short time ago. The double standards are so laughable.

Valuev would do better against Ngannou than Fury did. Pretty certain of that.

Just by the "David Haye case" it can be seen that Fury is not the new Valuev. There are more arguments. IMHO this is a thread for Fury haters.

I think he has to do a bit more before we mention him in the same breath as SNV.

Are you seriously comparing chagaev to unbeaten for eleven years reigning champion Vladimir Klitschko.

    Hahahaha.

    This is ****ing hilarious.

Joshua still won't fight wilder even though he's old and shot lol.

I'm sure he wouldn't. Valuev was downright awful.

5'9" shot and fat cruiserweight Marcelo Domingues beat his ass for Christ sake:

The idea that Fury is more skilled or has a better resume than Valuev is preposterous. Utterly preposterous.
