The guy who lost 5 out of his last 6 fights (with 3 stoppages in there) miles better than the guy who has 3 total losses? Sure thing, what a terrible idea to argue otherwise But at least you gained a cheerleader in the most pathetic Fury lickspittle. Good for you, I guess
He is miles better than him though, he showed that in his winning and defending of that alphabet belt, even though it was only against Arreola. Breazeale is tomato can, sorry to say. If you knew your boxing, you would understand this.
I’ve just re read your reply, you shouldn’t be following boxing if you think that one boxer is better than another one because they have less losses. Ali and Tyson both lost more than 3 times, does that make Breazeale better than them. Get some fresh air mate.
It's a forum, but for some is their point of existence - collecting likes and approvals from the fans of their idol. The others are "enemies". So let's make fun of each other.
Way to misunderstand my point. Stiverne lost 5 times in the space of 6 matches, with 4 losses in a row. It's common practice that after losses, fighters have confidence builder matches. On or two losses in a row happens, especially when rematches/trilogies occur. But four L on the trot? That spells "miles better"? No, mate, that spells "can't even beat lesser fighters who are supposed to be confidence builders". Decent fighters don't have such bad losing streaks, at any point during their careers. The worst streak of an old, washed-up, way-past-it Tyson was 2 losses in a row. Same with Ali - old, washed-up, Parkinson-stricken Ali still only had 2 losses on the trot as his worst streak.
You didn’t make that clear you. We all debate boxers and their skill levels, toughness etc, but in this case it was a bad example as Brazeale is so bad he’s not even worth using for sparring. Before his WBC defence against Wilder, Stiverne was more than decent.
Spot bleeding on. So what if he beat Arreola? That was life and death as well. Stiv is the worst big belt holder in the past two decades.
You are right, I wasn't clear. I'd also agree that 8-9 years ago Stiverne was arguably better than any version of Breazale.
