Nobody has mentioned Fury at 277, that is massive. They have either had a shocking training camp or their tactics are to steamroll him. Fury did not take his T-shirt off either and his arms did not look in great condition. BT sport suggested he may have rigged the scales. All adds to the mystery!
Fury didn't take his t shirt off in the previous weigh in either at the second fight, people again reading too much into it. His arms looked fine here This content is protected
Fury was seething with rage last night and it looks like role reversal with the mind games. Should Wilder pull off the upset, then Fury v Wilder 4 becomes the biggest show in boxing.
What BT sport suggested was that Fury had his hat on, his shoes on, he probably had stuff in his pockets. Realistically he is probably no heavier than he was for the last fight Not really. Seemed more like he was just trying to put on a performance to me. He's trying to get himself worked up enough to actually care about this bout. After all, he beat Wilder twice already really, the second time so comprehensively that he's stripped Wilder not just of his belt but his soul. Wilder's been reduced to blathering nonsense about 'muh costume', 'muh water', 'muh gloves', 'muh trainer conspired against me' and all sorts of other stupid nonsense. It's Fury's fight to lose. He loses if he gets complacent.
It's only a 4ib difference from the second fight bud. It suits him with this new style of his. Obviously not got the same nimble footwork that he once had but he can still move well and now got the size and belief in his own power.
Lets hope that's the reason, looks to me like he hasn't bothered training. Uncle Bob has been in a foul mood all week too which is concerning and has had a ton of reporters removed, obviously Fury is his biggest investment. This content is protected Regardless I still think he wins comfortably as there are a ton of red herrings before any Fury fight.
Excellent evaluation as always wig. When your career in the ring is over I’m gonna have a word with my people on the inside at boxnation about getting you some punditry work. Speaking as your cornerman and having watched the tape of your last bout with Paul the joiner outside the working man’s club in Rotherham I think you’re going to cause Fury no end of problems with your rope a dope/pool cue to the noggin type tactics. one note of caution though is that maybe Paul the joiner lost the fight before it started through emotionally being out of control after he caught you sucking his dad off in the disabled bogs!
The Fury vs. Wilder 3 main card kicks off at 2 a.m with ring walks for main event approximately 4:30 a.m. Tyson Fury (c) vs. Deontay Wilder, WBC Heavyweight title Efe Ajagba vs. Frank Sanchez; Heavyweight Robert Helenius vs. Adam Kownacki; Heavyweight Jared Anderson vs. Vladimir Tereshkin; Heavyweight
I know we all get annoyed at the state of boxing but I’m absolutely buzzing for the next 12 or so hours.
It’s actually quite a decent heavyweight card to be fair. The two main support fights are well matched which is infinitely better than the usual dross of showcases of Hearn’s cards.
