''The WBC mysteriously elevated Charr two weeks ago despite not fighting whatsoever since May. It’s dumbfounding how a boxer can move at least 22 places up the rankings without winning a fight in the previous month.

The German-based fighter was not in the Top 40, let alone the Top 15, where he needed to be for a voluntary sanction.

However, this still isn’t efficient enough for a Fury vs Charr clash in November or December.

Fury stated on social media he wants to fight this winter on UK soil. Anthony Joshua is his preferred choice. Charr has been sounded out in the eventuality that AJ doesn’t agree to the terms.

But that backup is off the table unless Warren can persuade the WBC to allow Charr to be voluntary. Fury has ambitions to defend the title against Charr due to the continued delay and Joshua’s uncertainty.

Joshua entered the rankings at number six despite losing in Saudi Arabia last month, a high enough position to challenge for the green and gold strap if a deal finally gets over the line.

If it doesn’t, Fury has few options for that voluntary defense. At this point, Charr would need to ask for a special exception.

    Tyson Fury’s WBC fight options
If the WBC doesn’t sanction Charr, Fury will be forced to look elsewhere. WBN lists the realistic options below.

Derek Chisora moved up two more places after beating Kubrat Pulev earlier this year. Fury has mentioned “WAR” on more than one occasion for a trilogy fight.

Martin Bakole becomes another solid option due to his UK ties. But it has to be said that it is slim pickings for Fury out of those three.

The rest of the top fifteen are either out of commission due to upcoming fights or have low interest for a UK Pay Per View.

Otto Wallin, who Fury defeated controversially in 2019, would be a fourth potential contender. The Swede exclusively aired his views to WBN regarding a possible rematch earlier this month.

“Yes, I am ready to fight him again. But I think he won’t fight me unless I become the mandatory challenger and he’s forced to fight me,” Wallin told WBN.

“I think the cuts that he had were very bad. He had 47 stitches after the fight. If I had those cuts, the doctors would have stopped the fight, for sure.”

British boxing fans are hoping for Fury vs Joshua in December before a rematch between April and June next year.''

It's fun Char wasn't even ranked in WBC, now he is number 19. How pathetic and corrupt boxing really is ?

Tyson Fury is having serious mental problems. He's become irrational, constantly contradicting himself.

The man is sick and needs to be under the care of a psychiatrist.
Yes. I pity his poor wife and children.

to late, damage is done, decade long blows to the head plus drug abuse and upbringing in a completely unsocial environment has sealed the deal. The guy is either going to commit sucide one day, die in an accident or do something to somebody and go to jail.

No matter who is thought to have ducked, Fury couldn't pick a much worse opponent than Charr. Guess either Charr or Fury will need to make an under the table "contribution" to the wbc to get Charr ranked in the top 15.

He isn't done as the biggest clown of the era. He has pretty much cemented it for eternity. Only Wilder could possibly be a threat to his position as #1 clown.

Every sport is corrupt and is rigged to a certain extent. Boxing and MMA are only a hair more on the up and up than pro wrestling.

There is no auch s**** in the UFC, and there is some sort of good rankings. Also top fighters actually fight each other constantly. In Boxing the top contender don't face each other as well. They just wait for title shots most of the time, fighting bums on the way.
In UFC if they refuse to fight, tgey are f**** and dropped in ranking. And there is no such b. c. with the promoters.

Is Fury wearing colored contacts or something? His eyes look weird in this video.

    I watched this interview earlier.

    The whole situation is bizarre.

    The questions are:

How much sway does George, Francis and Frank have with Tyson?

Can they convince him to stop tweeting things and take this fight?

If Tyson keeps saying that the fight is off, then why are Eddie and George still negotiating on a daily basis?

They must be confident that it can still be achieved.

What does Frank think, when he’s backing up Tyson’s claims by telling people that the fight’s off, whilst at the same time, both of his sons are still trying to make the fight?

If it’s still going to take weeks to make the fight, are they going to change the date, so that both guys can have longer to train?

Of course, they’ll both be ticking over, but they obviously can’t officially start their camps yet.

Regarding where Tyson could possibly have fought Usyk earlier on this year, could he have done that, when he knew that AJ was going to activate his rematch clause with Usyk?

All of the org’s are a joke.

Of course the WBC would make Charr a voluntary defence and sanction the fight.

All they’d need is a cheque.
