Despite Fury’s current state I’m starting to come around on Wilder as far as matchmaking. I’m putting my own Teddy Atlas kiss of death on him probably because that’s how it is for me in real life

Fury isn't even main event with Pianeta, and he's supposed to go and fight in Vegas as a main event next with Wilder. Think its all bs but will be happy to be proved wrong.

 

Why would a fight against a fringe contender be main event? This isn't a matchroom show

 

Funny most think Bellow calling out Fury while he is still coming back is a weak dog move yet Wilder is doing the same thing and his nut huggers are already trying to make out he is the Dusseldorf Fury..

When asked if Fury was offered 50 million he says he can't discuss money/purses because a Confidentiality clause, EXCUSE ME? PARDON? WHAT?

All this talk of Hearn and AJ, money, splits, apparently him seeing contracts but he had to sign or insisted on a CONFIDENTIALITY CLAUSE?

Mr W, surely you'd want your amazing deal to be made public to expose what an idiot Hearn is and what Fury and Wilder will make without Joshua?

You seem to want to discuss "proof of funds" live on air you've apparently seen regarding Joshua/Wilder but can't discuss a fight you're apparently making?

I'll tell you why these people want clauses and won't speak about purses and money is because more than likely AJ Vs Povetkin blows these two out the water in terms of money LOL

Absolutely embarrassing, the fact FW, Team Wilder (all of them) want to discuss Hearn, AJ and money in EVERY INTERVIEW, EVERY TWEET and who offered what and "peasant money" and they are signing clauses so we the fans can't know the financials?

Also when one of them asked FW "Here or in the US"

FW replies he don't know yet.. Errrrr OK Was that the other 1% to be decided then? Is that all we are waiting for? Just the venue?

Superb, easy enough to decide, but how do they know the financials if they don't know where the fight is being held? Live gate? TV? Stuff like that, what time the fight is? PPV numbers move a lot depending on the time of a fight here and the US,


This is complete rubbish this is 99% done, no way, not if you can't tell us if it's the UK or US.

The more I hear the more I believe they are just doing this to try and force Hearn's hand, wrong game to play because in my opinion it just backfired spectacularly with "CONFIDENTIALITY CLAUSE".

You've deliberately missed my point. How can Fury go from undercard in Belfast, to headlining Vegas. I could understand it happening in Alabama, not Vegas. Wilder cannot sell out an arena in his hometown, how the fook is he going to sell out Vegas with Fury ffs, or do any decent numbers. I want to see this fight just like everybody else. It just sounds like nonsense.

 

You sound terrified of the prospect of this fight happening!

Why are you so concerned with how an arena gets filled out?

The reason Wilder never filled out arena's before because he hasn't been involved in a super fight.

Everyone around the world who follows boxing knows who Fury and Wilder are so put them together and they will sell out, the build up with be explosive with their personalities and showtime know how to sell fight. So why don't you stop worrying your little self about matters that are not in your remit.

Just enjoy the fact that the fight is happening or alternative stick to watching the matchroom garbage where the main event is a 90/10 fight.

 

A part of me thinks it won’t happen, while the other half says it has to happen.

Put it this way, if the fight doesn’t happen it makes both team Wilder and team Fury look like complete fools. As it stands, they’re going with the narrative “a deal was easy to make and we don’t duck.”

Surely they can’t afford for that narrative to be reversed?

The WBC hadn't even officially notified Wilders camp but once they heard through unofficial channels they ran...

I don't really give a **** about you agenda driven bull**** you spew about Eddie Hearn and AJ (although I think its a bit strange your hard on for a promoter..) but Povetkin was done in by Wilder disappearing BEFORE and decision was made by the WBC..

In damage control the WBC (Wilder already being back in the US ranting about not fighting drug cheats lol) had no choice to suspend the fight..

What they should have done was to tell that chicken **** to get back on a plane and go take his beating like a man...

Now his 2nd test against Stiverne (who also failed a test) was for Ostarine of which like Lucas Browne could have been taken by tainted product...

Bottom line is the WBC DROPPED ALL CHARGES subject to legal challenges and Povetkin went back to fighting..

Understandably he chose not to fight for the WBC given how they set him up...
