Fury vs Wilder III

I would love to see Wilder v Joshua but Fury v Parker??? Come on scissors.

I think Fury v Whyte would be more entertaining than people think. The build up alone would be epic, they are both very good at getting under each others skin and there is already beef with the alleged sparring session. Also with the big Shane vs big Dean factor I think it would be comedy gold. Whyte can chin Fury if he lets his guard down. Atmosphere would be electric in the O2.

 

The final line was going well until the name Parker appeared.

Please keep him in New Zealand on Kiwi PPV so we don't have to endure another 12 rounds of nothing.

wilder is overrated beyond logic on here..considering his best win is Ortiz who's best win is Bryant jennings..can't wait till fury finishes him off and his brain dead fanboys for good.

 

Bit of a mad one with Wilder...he’s a crap boxer but he’s got the speed, power, timing and flexibility to spark you with one shot. He’s also developed a serious heart and will to win on top of that. He’s never going to outbox an opponent but every heavyweight on the planet could be legitimately bingo’d by him in a second. Fury fought a brilliant fight with him but he still got lamped about 4 times...thankfully, he rode all the shots but lesser skilled/mobile fighters would be taking them on the button.

 

The same man had Fury facing the ceiling with a cracking punch, a punch that would have had many a ref waving the fight off immediately, with none of us complaining of a soft stoppage.

Tony Dosh PPV is in fact much more overrated than Wilder with a CV full of old, small and stale puddings - he will suffer the same fate when he faces any decent live opponent and I even give Puddings Whyte and Chisora a very good chance of knocking him out.

 

Would rather see Fury Parker than Wilder again. We know he’s levels and levels above Wilder. Parker again isn’t great but he offers something different to Wilder and can at least box.

 

There’s not a chance Joshua is more overrated than Wilder. Wilder only has one punch power in his locker - which Joshua also possesses (or did). Fury is levels above everyone in the division bar maybe Usyk (Jury still out at HW) in terms of boxing ability but after that the next best boxer is probably Joshua who’s also one of (if not the) heaviest hitter(s). I think Joshua is overrated by the casuals who thought he was the new Lennox Lewis but I still think he’s underrated by many. In terms of speed, power, boxing, ring IQ etc he would be right up there towards the top in all categories.

 

Fury v Whyte for me would be a classic. Whyte would go out on a stretcher rather than not give it everything and Fury might not be able to play around with Whyte as much as he did with Wilder. Love to see this happen......

 

Got to admit he was very quick running away from little fatty in Saudi doing the Hughie Fury.

Certainly more Danny Williams than Lennox Lewis but I can see Wilder landing on him easier than the little fatty and it is lights out.

I’d love to see the fight, too. The build up would be excellent but I really think Whyte would be made to look very very limited. I watched the Joshua v Whyte fight the other day. I appreciate that they’ve both improved since that fight, but Joshua was boxing his head off. I believe Joshua got caught up in the emotion of the fight and decided to have a tear up with Whyte instead of dispatching him with the ease in which he could have done had he kept using the jab and being patient. Whyte had no answer for it...he got his few successes because Joshua started to take huge risks trying to just out man him.

I felt that Whyte struggled technically against Parker until the headbutt, and he at times struggled against Chisora (2) and Rivas. He’s got a great short hook, and he’s a really dirty fighter with tons of heart but beyond that, I would have Fury, Wilder, Joshua, Ruiz, Dubois, Joyce, Ortiz and Parker (in a rematch) all being too good for him.

People slate Wilders Boxing ability, and rightfully so, but Whyte is terrible.

There's NOTHING he does that is decent/good. He's technically terrible. Wilder would have laid him out cold, IMHO.

Tyson/Whyte would look like the HW version of Lacey/Zaggers.

That'd be a career-ending fight for Whyte.
