Who are you referring to as opponent they lining up Whyte to fight next? I was unaware of this. Ortiz would probably be AJ best opponent after wlad, Povetkin Whyte, Parker, Ruiz and pulev. Although you could debate Takam and Martin are in par.
You bang on about resumes obsessively, but don't you think a big hole in Joshua's record is his 0 fights as an away fighter? Usyk has done this on multiple occasions, Fury's 2 best wins are as an away fighter. Joshua has never fought as a true away fighter or on an even keel - in Saudi and MSG it was a Matchroom show with all the advantages weighted in his favour. Do you agree that this is a big gap in his record?
Joshua's record is like Real Madrid playing against and beating clubs like Ipswich Town, Torquay United, Portsmouth FC with one big match against Glasgow Celtic under last season's Neil Lennon but sold by Eh Day as the Lisbon Lions. They then went to New York for a friendly and got pumped by The Red Lion.
Problem is Joshua is the one who brings the money so will naturally have the advantages associated with this. Fury doesn’t bring the same amount of money to a fight so won’t get the advantages as he has no leverage to get it.
Fury won his belts in the backyard of 2 long-reigning champions who had no reason to fight over here. Between them Klitschko and Wilder had held the belts Fury won for 15 years. Not going to give up home advantages - we're not talking about Charles Martin now.
That is true, but he's enjoyed a massive competitive advantage as a result. It has to be factored in as a consideration that weakens his record imo.
People have Wilder above Joshua haha ffs no wonder the rankings still have Ortiz so high , clinging on to that win desperately.
Obviously BT will offer this on PPV- I doubt it does very well given the one sided nature of the last fight.
