Fury would clown Joshua

I was waiting until today's fight to post about Fury-Joshua because I wanted to see how the rest of Joshua's game stacked up with what we already know- that he's big, strong, and hits hard. I don't dislike him by any stretch.

What I saw is that there's some glaring deficiencies that need to be worked on before he takes that kind of step up- mainly, the lack of movement, stationary head, and lousy conditioning. That doesn't mean he can't fix that and improve- heck, the entire time since them, people kept ragging on Fury for the McDermott and Cunningham fights, all the while Tyson kept working and developing.

Joshua can do the same, but Fury is all wrong for him right now because of the angles, the mobility, the conditioning, head movement, reach, and handspeed. In another year or two, we'll see. But, I hope Joshua uses this fight as a wakeup call. Had Whyte been in 12 round condition, it could've been a story with a completely different ending.

Ultimately, I'd really like to see Joshua drop 10-15 pounds to get lighter on his feet, not be so stiff, and improve his endurance. His strength and power will still be fine.

This. Whyte had power to make Joshua walk backwards. Fury would have to hope his long reach is enough to keep Johsua at bay. But I could see AJ just walking straight through.
