I disagree. If he lasted 14 seconds longer we'd be saying Calzaghe should come out of retirement to fight him or bring on Kessler.
Probably as right as he was telling someone not to fight Pavlik for less than a million dollars. I forget who that was. Would have been a career payday for the guy too. Ended up begging fruitlessly as I recall after Arum moved on.
What the **** is up with this bull****? You have all these Froch threads claiming he is such a warrior with all this heart, and then you have the same people talking like JT should just retire because he's ****. WTF??? JT was winning the fight and lost with 14 seconds left. Are you fools serious? Either JT is an elite fighter who was barely beaten by another elite fighter who outlasted him, or Froch is also **** because he had to come on at the end and manage to KO a guy who isnt **** anyway. Which one is it? Can't have it both ways in one of the best fights of the year.
Greg Leon is a joke amongst men. Tell me again why he is the least bit credible about anything related to boxing....? I did find it particularly entertaining to watch his little tiff with Rafael and Arum, who rightly criticized him for being a ****ing idiot and talking his way out of a payday for a fighter he represents. Remember where you heard it first!
Really all these posts amount to nothing. Here is the cold hard fact. Taylor must continue fighting because he has to, his entire family counts on him for money and he didnt manage his early success well financially. Even if all this was true about JT. He has to fight on to feed his family and support his lifestyle.
I don't think he is done at all. He looked very live to me against Froch. In fact, on the basis of his last performance I'd give him a good chance to beat Bute (40% chance), Andrade (40% chance) and Bika (55% chance).
