I think it's important to view the excuses given by fighters for failing drug tests in the cold light of day. 'My brother spiked my drink' and 'I eat too much wild boar meat' are so pathetic that if a child came up with something similar you'd burst out laughing. The reason Galahad maintains innocence is because he has to. What can he say instead? 'I'm a drug cheat, yes I cheated, but here I am earning top dollar in a sport where people get killed?' I'm of the view that boxing is an absolute joke when it comes to drug cheats; ban them for longer, fine them more, and above that, remove all titles won to date on the basis that there has to be suspicion which cannot be removed. But as it stands, I completely get why the likes of Galahad and Fury maintain their frankly laughable position of innocence.

I'm not trying to claim otherwise. My only point is he can't be 'remorseful' if he is trying to claim he has always been clean. Why the press conference was a stitch up is that they had X amount of Leeds boys in there shouting expletives which for the most part were laughed off by Warren, Rawling and Warrington. On the drugs front, all the BT crowd were willing to chat through it freely yet there won't be a mention of it at the equivalent BJS and Fury press conferences.

Blatantly all set up to upset Galahad and make him feel uncomfortable. Hard to feel sorry for Galahad though.
I actually thought Barry came across better than pretty much anyone else. He was calm, considered and polite. Warrington thinks he's a comedian and his fans are disgraceful chavs who should be at work.
