    Fifty got the money so he ain't hurting. He can afford to let this thang come to fruition.Gamboa needs to fight up to his potential.If he does that, then it will be a well made deal for both of them. If he don't, then I would have his ass fighting every two weeks, whatever came up, pet gorillas, lions, I wouldn't give a **** cause I got have my money. Just saying, if I was Fifty.:lol: Just bullshittin gents.:lol:

    No different than getting pimped by a promoter. Gotta look on the upside....Gam got out of his contract with Top Rank, got a signing bonus from his new Promoters and is on a major PPV card to end 2012. Oh...and he's making $50K. Things could be a LOT worse for Gamboa.

    Gamboa can't even speak english. He will never be a star. He will never head a PPV. Rigondeux has a chance if he learns english today otherwise he will with all his skills just be a Sergio Jr.

    You can only get so far speaking one language. Ask Anderson Silva.

    Gamboa's oppenant is listed at $70k, now Gamboa is on the A-side of the equation heading into this fight so are you still serious he would only just get 50k, you think 50cent a guy so rich would be going around promoting this fight on media days so his guy can get that chump change and he gets a few bucks out of it, if anything I think Gamboa is getting a higher purse than you would think, 50 cent is also putting his name on this event and drawing extra fans from the music industry that dont always watch boxing, out of the PPV numbers I would guess 50 cent is bringing in an extra 50-75k Buys by stamping his name on it. But obviously with Gamboa being inactive he needed some money upfront and their was no cash flow shortage from 50's side to give Gamboa an advance of $500k or something. which he will deduct from him over the next few fights.

    Gamboa's beef was more with Oner than with TR.
    Everything he needs now is exposure and looking good in a sold out ppv card.
    Having 50 cents backing him up - financially and with promotion-is a good thing.
    He didn't turn down Rios fight because 1.2 million was little but because behind his money he was feeding way too many people and he was advised to stop it now.
    Everything depends of him now, his next fight can be a title fight with a bigger name and as the opponents names gets bigger so will his purse.Lets see what he brings tomorrow night.

    What's up Kid Cubano. Don't forget that barber shop with his name on it in Little Habana too. Small promo company right now but you know they'll do whatever is necessary because he will be their key success like Canelo is to GBP and Pacman is to TR.

    Sounds like Curtis is gonna put up some bucks for Gamboa's ring entrance to make it memorable. Seems Curtis knows the entertainment business. This has been lacking in USofA boxing for way too long. They don't understand "event" here.
