Seriously Gamboa is fighting good competition relative to his pro record and pro experience.

i hope that his opponent can somehow pull a win out of his ass.... id love to see him get dropped like he did in his last fight... hate someone whos like a demi god in there, then fights like he does, just my views... i can see why people are on his bandwagon, the dude is a phenom... but just cant stand him.

you're crazy dude.. gamboa is the MOST humble kid out there, extremely respectful and all... he will NEVER talk shiet about his opponents, always the best things to say about them, u'd realise if u could understand spanish. Yeah, once he gets in the ring it is another story, he becomes really cocky and dance around like he was the king of boxing, but that's part of what's fun to watch on him so i dont understand how you cant stand him.. i dont know what else can u ask for, he is the most entertaining active boxer and that's also why he has that huge bandwagon

I was far more impressed with Alfredo "El Perro" Angulo. Gamboa has all the natural gifts and all, But Angulo is exciting!!!!!

In the first HBO show Angulo was definately more exciting!! But there is something with Gamboa in every fight that will make it impressive. Man if Kirkland was still in the show...... Is there any 3 fighters more exciting to watch? I prefer 10x this card to any PPV... waiting for saturday!!! :)

Is Gamboa moving down to 126 or will this be at 130?
