He weighed in at 150, and if he had that much trouble with an old, past prime DLH(natural 140-147 pounder) how much trouble do you think he'd have with a bigger, stronger, more powerful, better MW in Hagler?

How much prime Hagler have you seen, because he was past his best in the Hearns fight. Watch how skilled a pure boxer a prime Hagler was, along with being a great banger.

Lewis started his career in the 80's and is retired. That would mean, according to your logic, that he'd lose to the Heavyweights of today, because he's old and they have access to better training techniques, etc.

I'd like to hear how the current Miguel Cotto is superior to a 1980 Roberto Duran. Please inform me.

Lewis would beat today's Heavies, but only because there is a total lack of skill right now, as soon as the skill returns to the division, sometime in the foreseeable future, i'd take any heavyweight over Lewis.

He is 5'5 I'd hope that he stayed at 130 his entire career and do everything he could to become an absolute ATG legend at this weight. He really doesn't need to go up to 135, But I think 135 would be the highest just because a 5lbs swing won't kill his speed, but he will give up a massive size disadvantage. Besides I think at his rate he should be able to land some great fights against good fighters at 130 before everyone leaves up to 135. So hopefully he can get some quality names under his belt at 130 and then fight long enough to possibly destroy another decade.

Cotto also consumes 60 percent of his calories in the first half of the day. And I've heard he drinks a full glass of water right when he wakes up. That boosts your metabolism a great deal for several hours.

Roberto Duran did no such thing.

this is the way all sports are, we idolize the past, and we miss the history that is being made right in front of us, twenty years from now our kids will look back and go wow, those guys were some ****ing great fighters
