I agree- calling out Pac won't get him anywhere as he's nowhere near Pac's radar, but he should be a force at 130 as long as he stays focused. I see he has a fight coming up against the ever-dangerous TBA in a couple weeks, so hopefully we'll get to see him in a meaningful fight in either late spring or summer.
World class doesn't mean elite. You definitely would have called Sam Peter world class after those wins. Though i agree that Gamboa's opposition isn't anything to write home about.
Jhonny Gonzalez IS a world class fighter and i wanna see him fight Caballero or Lopez sooooo badly. Gonzalez is kinda chinny but he's still a bad bad man.
What? :? This has nothing to do with me. Look how many other people immediately popped up to put you in your place when you pulled that bull**** out of your ass. Jhonny Gonzalez, with six world title fights under his belt, who's knocked out three quarters of an resume boasting a cumulative win percentage of about 75%...and who was beating Izzy Vazquez before a come-from-behind surge - he's not world class? Your standards are WAY too high. Especially for a ****ing Peter fan. :yep
Good points:good Johnny was dominating both Vazquez and Gerry. Vazquez destroyed him in the 10 rd and Gerry hit him right on the button.
Vasquez tends to do that to most people though Pensalosa on the other hand was just the luck of the dice. Sometimes that **** happens. He was winning every round (on my POS card) before Pensalosa landed a perfect body shot. That's life sometimes.
