Yep, his promoter should personally escort him to the VADA office and make a big deal about it.

Who actually thinks if Broner was Gamboa's very next fight, that Yuri wouldn't get flattened?

Why? Reese showed with just some speed that Broner is very hittable. Gamboa has real pop too. And if we are looking at their fights with Ponce, Gamboa didnt even break a sweat. Its an even match up I think, the most skilled fighter Broner has faced to date would be Gamboa.

That was when Gamboa was active. Look at Gamboa's last fight and tell me what you see. A huge amount of rust, and then to go into the ring with a bigger guy, who's just as fast as you, has a better chin than you and the power to knock you the **** out. It spells disaster. But keep thinking about the Gamboa before the lay-off.

Which might be a reason they would WANT to do the fight now.

 I call your bluff ,how much money are you willing to lose?? that Gamboa goes past 1?

He said the same thing about Marquez after calling him out, that's his new excuse lol.

Exactly, bronertards really believing everybody's easy work now(even the guy that easily handled ponce the solution).Gamboa has a chance & it's a real one, wonder how broner would feel losing to a midget.

Even though Gamboa is pretty short he has that foot speed to get inside and punish Broner. He can do the same thing that Rees did but with actual power and speed.

I think I actually gave a more detailed description of this fight on an earlier thread. Gamboa has the foot speed to punish Broner but Broner also has the speed to put Gamboa down. Not out but down so this would be a great fight to make.

Like I said in the opening post, I'd look forward to this one. I'm not sure how it would go which is what makes it interesting to me.

I rewatched that fight and Gamboa's filipino opponent was very explosive and powerful, Gamboa was good in that fight. Compare that to Gavin Rees.. I honestly think Broner vs Gamboa is a 40-60 fight, I'm a fan of both guys but Gamboa has the finer amateur pedigree and you only have to look at how they both dealt with PDL within the last two years. Broner takes a little while to get his timing in and Gamboa with his Cuban rhythm will make that very difficult, I can't see Broner getting his timing in during the fight, Gamboa doesn't fight to a predictable rhythm and has good footwork. Look at Rees in those opening two rounds when he was using footwork and movement, Broner doesn't like to move much. Gamboa keeps it on the outside, fights smart and he wins, guaranteed. Broner can hurt him and beat him if he trades on the inside, and Gamboa tends to brawl at times.
Really good fight, I'd love to see it.

gamboa never impressed me . ill take broner. n u cant really base nething on there pdl fights. broner learned from that an is a million times better sense then. another reason u cnt compare them by there fights pdl is broner was 22 when he fought pdl he was still developing as a fighter and a man. gamboa was older wen he fought pdl and fully developed . broner vs pdl now broner would ko his ass
