I would like to see Gamboa and Juan Lopez get in the ring in the future. Lopez 5'7 is big for a 122lber and Gamboa is small for a featherweight at 5'5. I think Gamboa is faster and harder hitting but Lopez got better chin and have tighter defense. Would be a good match.
Yeah, you know those times that Gamboa has gone down, with JML he will not get up. Gamboa has a very poor defense and you need a lot of it when you have somebody with the accuracy and workrate of Lopez.
lopez. gamboas been down before, you better believe hes going down against lopez, but he wont get up.
fighters change. JuanMa has not shown much development, while the Gamboa we saw recently is alot better than the Gamboa from a year ago. However I believe that the experience that JuanMa picked up against difficult styles like Penalosa and Lontchi will serve him well. Also having to go through adversity like he did against Mtgawa and coming out with the W will help him too. So although he hasn't shown it yet, I think those things did make him a better fighter. Gamboa seems to have improved alot but I guess most of it would be in the gym cause he hasn't exactly picked up much experience. right now I'd still say JuanMa is slightly better but I don't know how they fare h2h. I hope they get it on soon.
Juanma will continue to fight the Bernabe Concepcions of the world. He won't be fighting Gamboa any time sooner.
gamboa is what 5'4" that's too small plus he's wild with his punches and its open for counter punching.. when he get caught by lopez he's going down.. plush gamboa hasnt been tested yet. Lets see how he responds to a hard 12rd war is he gonna keep puching or is he gonna yield to the pressure... some questions that he hasnt answered yet but still is gonna be a good fight and i hope it happens soon :hat
