From the first moment the fight was rumoured, I was always confident Gamboa would've stopped JuanMa. I was really looking forward to it though - it would have been (and still would be) an excellent fight.

I don't really know how putting it off for any longer was going to make it into a financial blockbuster - the time was right and Arum ****ed it up.

I've said for a year now that Gamboa would wreck JuanMa, and I still think that. Of course, I thought Berto would wreck Ortiz, so wtf do I know.

" Although I think Gamboa can beat Juanma right now " , wtf , ¿ you didn't think that before yesterday's fight ? , if like you said you watch and analize Gamboa's fights , then you can see that it's almost imposible that a boxer like Lopez can defeat a boxer like Gamboa , DEFENCE is the key you need in order to open Gamboa's door , most people think speed is the key but they are wrong , speed helps but DEFENSE is EXENTIAL , and Im afraid Lopez lacks both, and btw Gamboas knock downs are a product of his small stature ( low centre of gravity ) combined with his quickness of legs ( balance ) , he has received worst punches than those and never been hurt . Gamboa IS a beast and little by little skeptics like yourself ( if you really like boxing ) will be won over .Peace.

¿ Who are you calling biased ? I recently saw a poll in ESB where the were asking if Gamboa was the WORST boxer on the planet ( or something like that ) and your name was at the top , it's clear that you DESPISE Gamboa , 95% of the people voted Gamboa the BEST f.w right now , and only a very small % voted like you , that shows that you are biased to , and you are the worst type , because even in the presence of GREATNESS you find faults ( maybe he defeated your fav boxer , or maybe you don't like cubans ) , just by looking at that poll I can see the sort of " boxing fan " you are , and I'm not biased , if I was mongolian and enjoy boxing up there in the mountains , the minute a see a Gamboa's fight I will recognize his skills and see that the kid has a future , in your case is HATE ( ¿? ) that makes you biased . Peace.

Look at all the ****ing Cubans riled up about their fighters. Cubans like you have no place talking about boxing knowledge when your bias is clear as day regarding your fellow countrymen.

I suppose your recent embarrassment with Lara and Solis (shoulda never went pro, that way he would dominate the heavyweight ranks in your wet dreams of you and every other cuban , along with Stevenson and Savon).

Gamboa just might be next, and Nonito Donaire just might make mincemeat out of Rigenouex, that's why your pathetic ass is so easily riled up

Dumbass, if you saw the poll properly, I checked all selections. I did that on purpose because the moron made the poll options multiple choice instead of single choice. :patsch

Just goes to show the intelligence level of Cubans like you (who can't read) and your brethren (who don't know **** about boxing or even how to post in boxing forum. )

    Can't give a definitive Yes/No.
Salido brings something to the table Gamboa cannot & vice versa.
(Orlando's style was able to neutralize JML's, BUT would Gamboa be able to withstand?)
