:patsch The one thing that struck me last night watching Garcia is that Khan needs to stay as far away from this guy as possible. I think your brain might be malfunctioning my friend.

If Khan needs to stay away from Garcia then he might as well leave boxing.....

He's an accurate counter-puncher when fighters venture into his range, but he's not a dynamic aggressor. He never throws more than one jab coming forward, and so he doesn't set anything up with it. It's always just wide lead rights and left hooks coming forward. Though he does target the body well.

That's an option. Like Freddie says, Khan needs to stay away from puchers.

Yeah ur a hater. You flipped on Khan like a little *****. Much like Khan, you dont understand boxing and at this rate you probably never will. Not everyone is picking Matthysse. Just the posters nobody knows or even cares about. Those picking Garcia have quite educated theories based off styles and strengths and get it right most of the time. The rest of yall just spend more time trolling and making fools of urselves with **** threads like this

Matthysse is a destroyer. He beats boxers, boxer punchers, bangers, sluggers, nuthuggers everyone.

oh wow two clips with a total of like 10 seconds means he is sloppy...i could find a 10 second clip of any fighter miss a few times and call him sloppy too

Garcia is very sharp with his punches and patient when trying to finish his opponents and his timing is superb

i think its funny how ppl on here are fishing for ways to bash Garcia

If you don't care why post on it? It's a boxing forum. Fact is Garcia is open coming forward. It doesn't mean he's not good or accomplished so don't get all butt-hurt. Flaws matter in the long run.

He jabbed a lot with Morales but he doesn't set up his punches like that when on the move advancing. Punching with opponents mid-range is his forte.

    butthurt Khan fanboy!!

He looks sloppy when he's timing his shots because he's using throwaway shots to set traps and get his range/timing. It's calculated.

The most impressive thing about Danny to me is his patience and composure, he really looks like cagey vet in there sometimes the way he takes his time and methodically sets traps, he looks sloppy at times when he's getting his timing down and I think that's why a lot of people wrote him off but even in the Khan fight when some fools say he was getting outboxed that simply wasn't the case. Khan was outworking him he wasn't outboxing him, from round 1 you could see Garcia patient and relaxed landing significant counters and setting up his left hook. He's also got a very solid chin and obviously serious power in his left, wouldn't be wise for anyone to trade with this guy. At 140 right now there's only Matthysse that's got a chance vs Danny unless of course JMM returns to 140.

What's your point? You say that is if it's some kind of problem. His style works with hooking off of opponents jabs/straights/uppercuts. Why would he stifle his own offense by throwing in useless jabs while advancing, when his whole point is to bait you into throwing something at him?

That's just your opinion of how he should fight. You're welcome to it.

So he KO'd Khan but he hasn't proven himself until he defends his titles against Khan? Great logic. :patsch
