I know what your getting at, it was a close fight which could have gone either way, but it was about 2 years ago and he has improved.
Garcia often likes to unload in the midst of the opponent throwing (or at least right after it). Khan could get clipped if he's careless.
I agree he has improved, but he is still a shocking 'world level fighter' IMO. Amir will handle him comfortably. But it is still a pretty good fight He lost to Theophane
i dont know why people are saying gbp are cashinfg out, i think they just like to put on the best fights. There biggest cash cowe canelo will be fighting Williams in what i think is a 60/40 fight in favour of williams. I think they just like to put there guys in tough fights.
Khan is a jammy *******. Facing a hard rematch with Peterson and next thing he's looking at one of the easiest fights out there to have three belts.
Feel for Ajose, will be the second time he gets ****ed over for a World Title fight. Hope Amir shows some class and gives him first crack. And before anyone asks, yes I do realise using the words class and Khan in the same sentence is a massive contradiction, but one can still live in hope.
If this fight goes ahead Garcia will have to relinquish the WBC belt. WBC had ordered purse bids for Ajose and Garcia. Then all of a sudden Golden Boy promotions requesting the purse bids be postponed. I smelt a rat because I suspected what they were trying to do
Rumours of step aside money - is this true? Also, unifications are meant to take precedence over mandatories, so if Khan gets his belts back then Garcia is within his rights to take the Khan fight. What would your next step be? Would you take some decent step aside money and a fight on the undercard?
http://www.fighth***.com/news/article12482.html Apparently unification doesn't take precedence anymore...
Why should we take step aside money when we have been kept waiting for so long? If Garcia chooses to fight Khan that is his prerogative but it will not be for the WBC belt which will have to be relinquished so that Ajose can fight for it.
would your guy be willing to fight prescott in order to build himself up a bit more and get more exposure stateside?
