    From what i seen in the scottish press his opponent looked like a cross between Big Daddy and Butterbean :patsch

    Nice step up for Gary and we will get some kind of marker to where is is at domestic level, John McDermott if he is fit and interested is probably just below British level and if Gary can get the stoppage then it would be an impressive scalp.

    A step up yes but against a guy whos as good as retired , Cornish needs a proper fight rather than 3rd grade Binmen , dissapointed he sh4t out of the eliminator with Dillian Whyte as that would have laid down a marker what level he really is , i dont hold much hope for cornish personally after seeing him floored by a cruiserweight

    I think McDermott is a decent fight. If it's a British eliminator you can't really complain. I've never seen the guy fight yet so can't comment on his ability.

    Leipai would be a good fight for Cornish- if he's not going anywhere we'd soon know.
