I watched the Kimbo fight last night and it was almost a loss for Kimbo, and now I hear Butterbean beat this guy in 40 seconds. Well Kimbo may become the new EliteXC HW champ with the right opponents, I want to see him fight Brett Rodgers next.

Because other fighters have fought those same guys without being bounced all over the ring.

Joe Savage...wasn't he that bare knuckle boxer who claimed to have horribly maimed some fighters? He boasted about breaking jaws, ribs and all sorts of ****...he was supposed to enter that bull**** boxing tournament with the likes of Bonecrusher Smith, Tony Tubbs etc.

I'm sure it's the same guy. In any event, it looks like he must have been fighting bus conductors or something.
    Nice video.

Not only did Butterbean beat Thompson in about 40 seconds but numerous other fighters have starched him with the first clean shot they land...

    Here are some examples...

Neil Grove wildly swinging like a pub drunk...but KOs Thompson inside 20 seconds...

    [YT]P3nB_wWnGDk[/YT]

Aleks Emelianenko...calmly KOing Thompson within the first 30 seconds...

    [YT]dG6bkoeJ88Y&feature=related[/YT]

    Here is the Butterbean KO...

    [YT]AJhIKgQvmjk[/YT]

And this guy has NO ground game, NO takedowns, NO subs....

And Kimbo went life and death with him, nearly lost and for someone who is apparently a HUGE puncher, he landed flush combinations and the most he managed was to rock Thompson and cut his ear.

Kimbo will get battered the moment he steps up.

And even so, he managed to dominate Kimbo on the ground and almost choked him out.

Imagine Kimbo against any of the better grapplers/BJJ experts! It would be a bad case of :hi: Kimbo.

After Kimbo knocks out Wlad in a boxing match maybe he can submit Fedor and Coture.

I like Kimbo, but I doubt he can stand in there and bang with Wlad, if it was a street fight, I would favor Kimbo,(tougher, better chin, better ground game). If were talking a boxing match, Wlad would kill him, all it would take is for one straight right to land and it's over. Even though Wlad has a glass chin, I still cant see Kimbo even being able to land one of his punches on Wlad, Wlad by 1st round decapitation.

Why do people think he has a better chin and is tougher? Based on what? Who the **** has hit him? He was fighting fat guys off the street with no training or technique. Total nobodies who would not win a local tough guy contest never mind a professional fight of any kind.

Wlad has a "shaky chin" when being hit by professional heavyweight boxers who are big hitters at their weight. KO artists like Sanders and Peter. Compared to little fat men like "Big Mac" who were working at Blockbuster and fought Kimbo in the parking lot during their lunch hour.

Kimbo has never been punched by anyone remotely resembling a good striker, NOBODY. He is so much tougher than Wlad??? How?

The one time he fought someone who soaked it up and gave it back in Gannon, he QUIT. He gave up. When have you seen Wlad quit? Never.

So lets drop the nonsense about Kimbo having any advantages. You could argue he has a better ground game, but his ground game is still non existent and he was taken down and dominated by James Thompson, a guy known for having ZERO ground game and a guy who has a highlight reel of being KO'd by single shots, some from crude brawlers.

And yet Kimbo landed flush shots, and flush 3 punch combos bang on that glass jaw and did not drop Thompson.

Wlad would decapitate Kimbo in any form of fight.

    I concur.

Your ****ing ******ed it you think Kimbo has even a 5% chance of beating Wlad in a street fight. In a boxing ring I'd give Kimbo a 0.1% chance of victory.

I really can't see Kimbo being able to last a full 12-round fight. He has a puncher's chance for 3-4 rounds. After that Wlad would be able to choose how long to carry him before stopping him.
