Because I know Kimbo wouldn't be fradyscared to get close and mix it up. Wlad would be forced to fight, and not slap-jab like he's been doing lately. Could Kimbo get caught in the first round and get knocked out?... absolutely. But if you don't think there's any way Wlad could get caught and hurt, badly, by Kimbo, then YOU, Sir, are the moron.

Gary Shaw is a ****in ******. The guy had the nerve to compare Kimbo to Michael Jordan and Tiger Woods. Hes probably not dumb enough to believe the **** that he says, and its all for promoting, but still, the guys an idiot. I mean, Kimbo hasnt even faced a real MMA fighter yet. Right now he is getting easy fights to build up his record. The Bo Cantrell fight was a joke, and Tank Abbot is complete garbage. And tonight hes facing a guy who is known to have no chin at all. He is very lucky to have this matchmaking. He has proven NOTHING in MMA, and yet he is gonna beat the best HW boxer? LOL. Vlad would murder this dude easily, and yes, I realize Kimbo has some KO power. Shaw will keep protecting this guy from real challenges. Win or lose tonight, Kimbo hasnt proven anything in MMA. He will get beat as soon as he fights a well rounded experienced fighter, doesnt even have to be a top 10 guy. Remember this guy couldnt even beat Gannon. Is he better now? Yeah, but hes still nothing special.

MMA Atheletes are the most overrated fighters in the world. 90% have **** condition and can't punch to save their life. Grappling can be learned in 1 month. MMA is the toughman comp of the new millenium.
The only reason I think mid-rounds is because Wlad would CHOOSE to take it that far. If Wlad were to go out for the quick KO, he'd probably still win but he gives Kimbo a puncher's chance. But if he fights smart early, he would ensure victory.
BS stoppage. Thompson looked almost exactly the same as he looked at one point in the 2nd round, and in that round he ended up taking him down and winning the round. He might have finished him anyway, but Thompson should have been given the chance to show that he could continue. But of course, Gary Shaw had the fight fixed. He couldnt have his precious Kimbo get beat. Awful performance from Kimbo.
While I agree that many people overrate MMA fighters, especially compared to elite boxers...the elite fighters like Anderson Silva, Fedor, CroCop, GSP, etc are world class athletes, fighters and Olympic level wrestlers wihtout a doubt.
Kimbo has no handspeed or stamina Damn talk about fixed, horrible stoppage, that guy was hurt that bad in the 2nd when he proceded to take Kimbo down and drop about 50 elbows on his mellon
Thompson'e ear pretty much exploded. :yep :shock: Either way, Kimbo was pretty much exposed even in victory. Thompson has been blown away by average fighters before, but he was winning this fight before the stoppage.
Kimbo doesn't even have a punchers chance. He just got beat down by a journeyman MMA fighter with a horrible chin, coming off brutal KO losses and landed numerous flush shots, yet he didn't drop him once. Wlad has only been down by elite HW punchers, he would laugh at Kimbo's punches, especially if was wearing 12oz boxing gloves. He wouldn't even land on Wlad...it would be over within a minute or two with Wlad stopping Kimbo brutally.
