750k for the Abregu fight? Pretty good. Makes you wonder sometimes on who advises these fighters and who really has their best interest. Most of us would love making 70k a year and the thought of turning down 1.4 million plus PPV is amazing. For 36 min of fighting max. Technically 15 min of that 36 would be holding.
damn shame. some people dont appreciate what they got. they dont know how good they had it until it is all gone
Timbo was one of my favorite fighters because honestly he seemed to be taking on all comers at 140 and kicking ass, hard work ethic, etc. He has just pulled, second to mayweather, the biggest duck going. And as much of a slimeball as Shaw can be, he is RIGHT ON THE MONEY about this whole.. "let the cake bake" line of B.S. Very disappointed in bradley.
I dont see the problem, if khan fights judah then the winner can face bradley in december, that unification fight can happen later this year, bradley obviously has problems with shaw that need to be fixed first by going to toprank or gbp.
Just think how many fighters already bolted out of Gary Shaw and you're gonna clearly see who's got a problem.
Very low KO ratio and still making millions...Bradley shocked me here. He seemed truly humble. He doesn't have a pinup model looking wife and seems happy but now thinks he's on the Oscar level, the Floyd level, demanding his way or no way. Those guys have built a fan base and enemy base to be able to dictate their terms.
Boxing is a business. Obviously Bradley feels working with Shaw isn't in his best interest, so once business outside the ring is taken care of, he can handle his business in the ring.
I just think the prob is with him calling out Amir and now isn't going to follow through. He can easily say I'm waiting until the contract expires. Then there would be no speculation.
The problem, with me, is having to hear his constant calling out of Khan and accusations of him running (whilst being fully aware of his deal with HBO and Shaw), only to then go back on his word and reject the fight. He's made himself look like a right tit in the process. Also, the other big problem here, is that he's likely to join Top Rank more so than GBP, so he can get closer to a Pacquiao meeting. Joining Top Rank also means the Khan fight will likely go down the toilet, seeing as though the two promotional companies don't get along any more.
he got 750k to fight Agrebu and he's bitching he's lucky he got 7500 im not joking Bradley's never been any sort of draw and there's no way in hell anyone made a profit off of that fight other than Bradley.
