No he's not! He will spark Sykes though.

An elite fighter who has yet to beat anybody remotely close to world class, and got out hustled by a SBW?

    Yeah that makes sense Rob.

That actually makes it more acceptable...Frank should learn from it.

If you're going to fight sub-par opposition to keep busy make it a non-title 10 rounder :yep.

Given his last opponent and infrequent fighting schedule, Broner shouldn't need Sykes to 'stay busy' he should be taking a challenging fight.

TBH it wasn't to long ago people were thinking Sykes could go onto European level and he was doing well domestically. No shame in losing to G-Buck.

This is ok as a 10 round contest as Ishy said, It's another showcase bout for Broner who's being groomed for stardom. Not sorta showcase i wanna see but HBO want this guy to look the goods and Sykes will play into Broner's hand's.

Think he's out again in July or August against possibly Vicente Escobedo.

He could end up fighting 4/5 times this year which is unheard of for a titleholder these days (especially in the US).

Hmm i'm kinda on the Hype Train Broner looks like a big enough superfeather and he has undeniable skills (straight from the gospel according to mayweather). Its good that he's trying to keep active but it looks like Sykes is completely out of his depth.

Sykes is British level, bordering on Euro, Broner is a world champ and i know he hasn't got a great resume as of yet but he did a number on Perez who is a solid gatekeeper and Liatzu who has been around the block. Also he had a tough fight with Ponce De Leon (many say he lost) i though he one by a round a draw at least and he was only 21 at the time that is impressive!

I think Perez and Litzau would beat Sykes tbh.
