    No one was knocking Sykes for taking the fight.

    I was calling it as it is...a mismatch on paper for a world title. However if Sykes has got the fight then obviously he should take it as it's a fantastic opportunity.

    I like Sykes, always puts in a good shift when he fights and he has impressed me.

    Great opportunity for him, but jesus I'd feel sorry for him. Broner would honestly go through him within 4-5 rounds. That said, if the fight doesn't happen I hope that he can go on to big things.

    Agree 100% Broner has 2 arms & 2 legs like everyone else, why shouldn't Gary take this fight

    Hope he does the business & even if he doesn't get the result he wants still does himself proud

    All Three of the opponets Burns defended againts would beat Sykes hands down id like to see Sykes last half a fight with Martinez or Katsidis.

    On the fight itself, Gary can't do any worse then Broners last 3 opponents. If he has a sensible gameplan i think he'll acquit himself well enough.

    It'll be someone like Sykes, someone who is there to hit and showcase Broner's ability. They won't go for anything that's to risky or a bore stylistically so Sykes may well get the nod. Strange choice but fair play to him...
