I think Sykes will win this on points. I hope he does aswell, then he'll hopefully fight Johanneson in a big Yorkshire battle :bbb
If he is, it will definitely be a SD or a draw, that man shouldn't be allowed anywhere near a boxing ring.
The Peacock would be interesting that night I reckon. I wonder if they'd keep the "Home fans only" signs up :yep.
They'd probably close it, don't want all the oldies keeling over, do we? I'd be in the Broadway..... even though it's about a mile in the wrong direction, it's the only half decent boozer round our way. Your a Miggy lad aren't ya?
I see a contraversial decision looming...O'Hara is quite decent even though Sykes would be favoured. I don't see Sykes as worth it at the prices for him to win/by decision. I am going to keep a keen eye on the in-play odds though on Betfair/365/boyle as I reckon they could be favourable in a fight like this.
The Broadway is a decent boozer. Was in there a few weeks ago actually. Yeah i'm up in Middleton - zero pubs round here anymore. The Engine got refurbished but it's still dodgy like
I don't go in that much, been in the past couple of New Years and it's usually the meeting place before we hit town. It's our home for the World Cup though..... I know nearly all the regulars so won't feel like a **** taking over the place for a month :yep I've only been in the Arms twice.... was scared shitless and did a runner..... Merlins was alright for about a year a while back. Whistle used to be best pub about four years ago.... then it died a death :-(
