Not forgetting to mention the fact that a 2 year inactive Wladimir Klitschko gave prime Anthony Joshua the toughest fight of his career. And none of the prime young boxers from this current era were able to do this. Why didn't Dominic Brezeale do better against Joshua than Wladimir Klitschko did? What happens if Wilder gets knocked out far quicker and more convincingly by Joshua than what he managed against 41 year, 2 year inactive Wlad?

What that dildo poster has been doing all along is essentially destroying this current era's credibility but is so blinkered with hatred his teeny mind couldn't even register it

Incorrect , its because his management made sure to steer him well away from any and all threats. Vitali was the brother their management put forward to challenge Lewis. Wlad was fed on a diet of cream puffs and two of them managed to knock him out.
Wlad was backed and promoted heavily by HBO back then so why don't you give me an example of a guys he tried but failed to get into the ring?
Did you know he had a fight scheduled with Shannon Briggs and ducked out of it at the last minute? This was in 2006 ffs when Briggs was past it so that gives you an eye opener as to why his first 10 years and 45 fights are totally devoid of top contenders.
He wasn't willing to work his way up the ladder to fight Lewis because he wouldn't have fought Lewis back then even if his life depended on it.
At he end of the day he could not handle Davy Williamson.

Load of nonsense! Wladimir Klitschko had to prove himself first at world level before anyone would face him. Wladimir Klitschko could've just as easily retired and not face Joshua or Fury. He wasn't obligated to and was older than Lennox Lewis when Lewis retired at age 37. So your idea of him ducking someone like Briggs is hilariously laughable.

The reason why Fury and Joshua are even proven in the first place is because they beat Wladimir Klitschko. Otherwise, they would be nothing now and it's because Wlad didn't duck them and gave them the opportunity to face them.

Wladimir Klitschko was meant to face Evander Holyfield but Holyfield lost to Sultan Ibragimov and Chris Byrd. Both guys who were then soundly defeated by Wladimir Klitschko.

Wladimir Klitschko was meant to face Lennox Lewis but lost to Corrie Sanders. A guy who Lennox Lewis never fought (Lewis never fought a single southpaw in his career).

Wladimir Klitschko couldn't have faced anybody at the top level until he proved himself early on in his career. And that's exactly what he did! Wladimir Klitschko never ducked a single opponent!

He clinched Chambers like a vice EVERY time they got close. Its all on film and the pictures i posted do not lie.

And it wasn't any regular grab either , he clearly squeezed him as hard as he could knowing it would drain his legs and his speed.
Why do you think Eddie picked him up? Because he didn't like Wlad back humping him to death and wanted to draw attention to Wlads fouling , thats why.

Thabiso Mchunu , a cruiser weight , never needed any illegal fouling when he beat Chambers by shut out. He did what Klitschko could not do and controlled the range using pure boxing skill.

Briggs took Wladimir Klitschko to court for breach of contract.

Evander Holyfield fought Sultan in a world title fight at 45 years old. The fact Vander could hang around till that age and still get world title fights is testament to the dire states the division was in. The worst in history and probably the weakest talent pool in ALL of sports at the time , not just within boxing.
Because it was so weak , Wladimir Klitschko was able to go undefeated for 10 years , but amazingly he still had to foul his way to victory in almost every fight.

Joshua was not prime at all , he was inexperienced and is still learning now. He had less fights against Wlad than Wlad had when he lost to journeyman Ross Purrity. Was Wlad prime when he lost to Purrity?

At least Joshua was able to hold it together under duress and came back to win by knockout. Wlad against a much inferior opponent couldn't keep it together and fell apart at the seams. Joshua past his gut check , Wlad failed his.

Difference is AJ passed against a hall of famer , Wlad failed against a journeyman.

When AJ was the same age as Wladimir Klitschko when Wlad lost to Ross Purity. AJ was getting destroyed by the likes of Mihai Nistor and Magomedrasul Medzhidov in the amateurs. It just turned out that Wlad turned pro quicker and his lack of experience was exposed in the pros, rather than in the amateurs.

You say Wlad is better than Ross Purity and AJ succeeded against a better boxer in Wlad, whilst Wlad failed against an inferior boxer in Ross Purity. Yet, going by your own logic, how can Wlad be superior to Ross Purity when Wlad lost to Purity? And how exactly is Wlad a hall of famer to begin with, when Wlad according to you, failed against this same journeyman?

You do realize you've just dug your own hole / grave with that statement? By criticizing Wladimir Klitschko, you're making Anthony Joshua look even worse!

Ross Purity stopped a young, active Wladimir Klitschko in 10 rounds (1 round quicker than Anthony Joshua did) without even going down once.

Meanwhile, Anthony Joshua needed 11 rounds to TKO an old, inactive Wladimir Klitschko after getting dropped himself.

So what exactly does that make Anthony Joshua? That a supposed 'journeyman' in Ross Purity beat a better version of Wladimir Klitschko more impressively than Anthony Joshua did?

Anthony Joshua's value as a heavyweight boxer, is predominantly dependent upon his win over Wladimir Klitshcko as the other poster correctly stated. As such, that's also based on Wladimir Klitschko's own career record and quality. Criticizing Wlad's record, just makes Joshua look just that much worse.

Fury held and controlled Cunningham's face with his left arm before throwing his right hand. That's an illegal punch! Regardless of which way you try and twist it.

Why was Wladimir Klitschko even supposed to fight Shannon Briggs? Was he a mandatory? Or was he a champion? If not, then how exactly can it be called a 'duck'?

Shannon Briggs had his chance and he blew it by losing to Sultan Ibragimov. And instead of facing the loser, Wlad instead fought the winner which was Ibragimov. Rendering any argument about Wlad ducking Briggs irrelevant.

And 40 year old Alexander Povetkin, Kubrat Pulev and Luis Ortiz are top contenders fighting / will fight in world title bouts the current heavyweight era too. So what does that make the current heavyweight era? Just as 'dire'?

Or how about Lennox Lewis's era when ancient Larry Holmes beat prime Ray Mercer more convincingly than prime Lennox Lewis did? Does that also prove that era was equally 'dire'?

Or is it more reasonable to conclude that these things just happen, and aren't evidence of any of those eras being 'dire'?

Two pictures from a 12 round boxing bout, consisting of 36 minutes proves nothing! Clinches happen nearly all the time. Even in the cleanest of bouts. I can post a single or two pictures of Anthony Joshua clinching Carlos Takam. Or Deontay Wilder clinching Artur Szpilka. It proves nothing!

Wladimir Klitschko RARELY had to clinch Eddie Chambers anyway. He clinched him at most, 3 times every round whilst rarely going above that.

I've seen the fight and I know what I saw. And from what I saw, he rarely clinched enough for it to have been a factor in Eddie Chambers becoming unconscious.

Excessive clinching is illegal. 3 clinches a round doesn't equate to excessive clinching to me.
