Best fight in the game! Gassiev humbleness and power makes me believer ! Im not a fan of Eastern Europe fighter! But this guy its a true fighter
It's an incredible fight although I see no logical reason to not be a fan of Eastern European fighters. But either way, it's a great fight and it's going to be a tough one to call.
I like him too. He’s refreshing to watch. Has true subtleties and is a sneaky mf but a volume puncher like Usyk can be his krytonite because Gassiev is too patient and susceptible to jabs. I got Gassiev winning a close fight though.
Classic boxer vs puncher match up ! Pick em fight, I usually tend to favour the boxer but Gassiev's looking like a machine. 45/55 for Gassiev atm

Gassiev better not try and outbox Uysk though. I feel Gassiev will box early lose a lot of rounds then realize he should have pressed the action the whole fight.
I doubt it. Gassiev boxed Dorticos early because their plan was to let Dorticos wear himself out a bit before they pressed the action. Usyk has no power. The best thing they could do is start working on his body early.

Do you not rate Usyk power?Montero keeps saying Usyk has more power than Dorticos and has this thing about Usyk surprising Gassiev with his power on account of him punching with a straight arm as appose to Gassiev who doesn’t. I reckon Usyk could KO you with accumulative punches/combinations whereas Gassiev seems to be able to get people out when he wants to,least that’s how it looks.
He does have subtleties n all more so than when he fought Lebedev,that combination that took out that guy to the body was a thing of beauty on a guy who’d never been dropped before I believe?

I haven’t seen Usyk’s power. I see a weak jab with a bent elbow and a lot a flashy, inaccurate slapping combinations. All arm punches. Usyk does dance well though. I’ll give him that.
