Gavin's has been such a massive disappointment. Look at other prospects like Groves, DeGale, Frampton, Quigg and how they were brought along. Those guys are approaching world level now and look where Gavin is. :-(

Worst thing about is, Gavin was probably the one with the most potential turning over.

At least it's not months before he's fighting again which is an improvement in itself.

i'd imagine so both fights set for that date (****** won purse for gethin murphy)

seen Frankie saying on his facebook its a localish fight 20mins drive away and Gethin saying his fight is that date probably in Wolverhampton or Walsall (both would fit)

Take it from me... Gavin will retire this time next year.

His career is just hitting one bad patch after the other.

not a bad fight for his 15th fight if he wasnt in the spotlight because of his amateur success. he needs a couple more at the top of uk level before he moves to euro level because he still needs the experience.

it doesnt matter what other boxers are doing, the fact is he progressed way too slowly to even worry about where he 'should' be. at the moment he needs to learn his skills by fighting through the ranks. euro title fights are a year or two off even at full steam ahead with four good fights a year.
