Garcias belts will soon be vacant so a bit of manoeuvring could get them, think the brook loss massively humbled him, certainly seemed very reflective in the post fight Ifl interview as he knew he could never be relevant at WW, could be the boot up the **** he needed
I don't care enough to be annoyed but I am slightly irritated by the whole thing. It was obvious years ago that he was not big enough for the weight and never more so than the Bundu fight. I personally think Gavin knew it himself, I remember when he fought Witter he was saying things like 'he is not bigger than me and people say I'm small at the weight'. I think it is pretty obvious that he didn't want to put his body through the pain of getting to the right weight. I would bet good money that he is probably a natural 135 lb. He knows now that its 140 or bust because he hasn't a hope of doing anything at welter
He has to take a beating before he knew he couldn't compete at ww. Loads of people on here knew he should have gone down to lww along time ago.
Gavin needs to get in contact with Chris Algieri so he can learn to live that championship lifestyle.
Even 140's probably too high. Should be at 135. Regardless of how well the new division suits him though it's clear that he'll achieve little of note. As this fiasco proves his mentality is far too weak.
This. He has a clear stone of fat he could lose, should be at 135, he really doesn't have any muscle mass. He's just not dedicated enough to put the work in and lose it, the fact his diet was still so bad right before a world title fight shows imo that he'll never change.
You need to be able to have some form of dig to compete at world level, Gavin can not punch for ****. Brook said Galahad has alot more power then Gavin and he is a SBW
