Gavin. Far more seasoned at this point with a top quality skill-set.

If thats the case then Khan will have to fight Maidana next or vacate...but there is no sign of Khan vacating. What does that tell you? If a contract exists restricting Maidanas ability to fight Khan (I very much doubt it) then he will have to step down as Khans mando...has that happened??

It tell's me the WBA are a joke.

But as i said, Maidana may want this fight, but if thing's are to be believed people say he has a contract saying he can't fight Khan yet.

If this "contract" is true... What does that tell you?

It tells me that people make **** up on the internet and tout it around as fact. Where is this contract?, who is the contract with? where is the source from the horses mouth? or from someone directly involved that a contract actually exists? I bet you can't produce one, other than some half arsed conjecture from the GF

If you read my above post's i say "conspiracies" and "what people say", i did not once say this is fact or i have evidence to prove it, so please read before posting.

I just find it a bit funny, Khan jumping on Salita as a mandatory but won't with Maidana. I am not for one instance saying Maidana will beat Khan, so don't get your knickers in a twist, all i'm saying is there's something wrong about the whole situation, so wether there is a "contract" or not, something is'nt right about it all

If it is just **** made up on the internet why mention it then??

Maidana wouldn't beat Khan, its a pointless, boring ****ing fight...but I truly believe that Marquez does have enough left to beat him. Thats why I would rather see Marquez - Khan than Maidana - Khan. I just don't understand this obsession with MM :-(

Because a lot of "**** made up on the internet" sometime's does turn out to be true...

Nobody want's to see JMM v Khan, as good as JMM is, and as much as he rolled Diaz over last weekend, i think him going upto 140 against a bigger, younger opponent is all wrong for him. JMM is a small 135 fighter, and Khan is a big 140lb fighter. JMM has Khans number in the skill's dept, but Khans Athleticism should win him the fight.

I want to see him face Maidana as i want to see EXACTLY what the Prescott loss has done to him. If he come's out, outboxes Maidana, etc to a decision then fair enough, he'll have me, and a lot of other people off his back. But if he still is'nt mentally over the Prescott defeat, Maidana will bring it out of him.

That's why Khan v Maidana is intresting

Icemax, just our of intrest what makes you think JMM has such a bigger chance than Maidana of beating Khan? Did you watch him against Diaz? He's slowed down a lot. He no longer can go at his usual pace for 12 rounds. And to top that Khan is so much bigger, stronger, fitter, younger.

Wham: On Five Live before Mitchell/Katsidis we talked non-stop about how cruel the sport was and looked at Prescott's fall from grace - a fall by the way on a show on the outskirts of Vegas in front of about 11 people, who by the way, had probably paid about 20 dollars for their tickets.
Also Wham, I'm not sure what it is that you are trying to say - Mitchell was at the centre of a brilliant promotion in a fight that he could have won. I would guess that more people paid to watch that night at Upton Park than paid to watch the JMM fight last weekend - take the freebies out of the market and they probably shifted about 6,000 tickets last week in Vegas. I think that most of you online would be stunned at how bad American shows are - look at the pictures in Boxing News and Boxing Monthly and notice how tiny so many of the venues are. A Hatton or Froch or Haye night is better than any American night, trust me. Pacman attracts some love and Pavlik....but most of the others might be brilliant but they have more fans on the British forum! Was it Dawson that defended his title last year in a lap-dancing bar where the tickets were 20 bucks including a free dance? I'm only half joking!
Mitchell was an event and had he won...that creates pressure for a super-fight with Khan.
I have to sell in papers, magazines and on radio British fights and fighters - I don't have a blog at a paper where I can write cobblers about fighters that Roach/Steward/Mayweather insist are the future. Look in today's Independent and there is a piece about British amateurs and the new GB championships. That is what I do for a living. When I'm paid in dollars and pesos I will punt the septics, simple as that.

    Adios.

Exactly. Let's not forget Diaz was outboxing JMM in their first fight for the majority of it, and was coming on really strong at the end of their second fight as JMM seem's to of slowed down towards the end.

JMM is one of my favourite fighters, hence the reason i don't want him to be another "stepping stone" for Khan, as that's all it'll be if they fight at 140lbs.

Above in Buncey's post, it's true some American show's can't even sell. If i remember correctly was'nt Jones v Hopkins II an absolute shamble? I remember seeing something saying they'd only SOLD 800 tickets, had to give the rest away
