He got his shot and lost. I actually can't believe that some people see the Maidana fight as a greater risk than a shot at JMM. A journeyman, one dimensional slugger or a top 5 P4P fighter.

    A one-dimensional slugger might be a bit of a handful for Khan:think

Have you seen any of his fights other than the Ortiz one? The bloke is a plodder who looks chinnier than Khan...I honestly think it would be an easy nights work for Amir.

    WE HAVE BEEN OVER THIS!!!

Khan is a ****ing paper champ, an dodging ducking weaving slippery ****. Dodged thaxton, murray and now maidana. Accept it mate, Khan is a fraud. Maidana was close to beating kotelnik last-time aswell. I believe he would pose khan a few major problems with his speed and power. Jmm and malignaggi are top fighters and higher in calibre than maidana that is not in wuestion. But they aint mandatory are they?

As i have said can you imagine man utd drawing barcalona in the champs league final and saying **** that, they are too good, and besides we have an fa cup and prem league to win against other opposition. We will wait until barca are not in the position where we have to face them again for the champs league.

I was hoping that khans move to gbp would bring out the fighter and winner in him, no more ducking and hiding behind mismatched opposition. I guess i hoped for too much (a champ acting like a champ)...

That's partly why I think Khan should take it.

Why let someone else get the credit for giving Maidana a beating?

IMO Marquez will still have too much..... why risk a stoppage loss against what plenty of red top journo's are calling an easy opponent?

Especially when everyone in the know believe differently?

You think Khan has enough power to KO Maidana off the back foot? I don't. He won't jump on Maidana like he did with that pleb Salita.

It would be like Prescott all over again, running into centre ring at the opening bell to trade shots and getting stopped. No, Khan will try and fight this off the back foot, and he'll win a lot of the early rounds. ****, he might win the whole thing. But Maidana will be on him from first to last, and won't give him as much breathing room as Kotelonik did.

I think a lot is being read into the Salita fight, which should not be the case. No one on here ever gave Salita a chance, we all knew he was a no-hoper. Maidana is the acid test for Khan at LWW.

No other fighter other than Khan would get this much **** for not wanting to take on 2 mandos in a row, but taking on a much, much better fighter instead. Its insane. How the **** is Khan a fraud for wanting to fight a top 5 p4p fighter? FFS

Maidana is slow footed as ****, Khan will run rings around him...check out Maidana on youtube, he looks awful...people are getting blinded by the KO ratio. As for acid test at LWW...that would be taking on someone like Iron Twin or Bradley

Tim bradley is a proper champ who fights bangers, slicksters and oyt and out boxers and will fight whoever comes in front of him. He is deserved of his acclaim as a champ...

Yet, he faces Floyd Mayweather and has suddenly become a shot Barrera?

First of all, JMM is NOT shot(Before you say). He's aged much more effectively compared to MAB, and JMM's counter punching could Knock Khan out. Did you see JMM VS Floyd? He caught the best defensive fighter in the world a few times clean aswell.

How do you think Khan would be with them shots? This is more than a serious test for Khan.

Jmm looked atrocious in his last outing, completely outboxed and looked like a journeyman at times (and i am a ridiculously big jmm fan). How could jmm reach a punch on khan who would run all night throwing cautious jabs from afar like a fencer. Id give paulie a bigger chance in fairness...

Yes, he did look complete rubbish but I believe any 140 pounder who drop their alphabet title for a chance at JMM, don't you think?

But fair enough, I know where you're coming from. I'd like to see Khan in with a puncher but business is business.

At least it's better than Erik Morales eh? :think
