The better question is between Mosley and Floyd.

I expect Floyd to step up the gas and require huge amount of blood extracted from Shane everyday leading to the fight.

Like I said before everyone should get tested randomly, no exceptions at all. GBP should set an example if they really want this enforce and be a leader in boxing. The truth is most likely they would not bring that subject up in the Mosley/Berto fight. But if Berto and his team does, then they would very likely make Mosley agree on it. I know Mosley would be willing and have no problem with it right now.

Don't know if Mayweather has the balls to face Mosley. Maybe with a bad performance he would take the challenge. I don't even think he would face Berto let at least if he comes out victorious.

i know. i find it too convenient for schaefer and GBP to pursue this for the pac fight and not even making an example on berto-mosley fight. i guess, scahefer should at least admit that they are suspecting pac himself of being a steroid user and quit with the crap about being a "vocal advocate" of the sports.

i'm sure if either of the one comes out victorious but looked beatable, floyd would immediately issue a challenge. in pac's case, he look like a beast when he beats cotto, even after a war, so floyd could have been hesitating by demanding these over-the-top demands.

I don't really think the random testing is an over-top demand, but everyone is entitle to their own opinion. As a fan of Manny and not being bias, is not looking good for him in the public eye the farther this issue drags on. His team should be doing a better job handling this situation. Everyone is talking, information is being release, people are contradicting themselves. And if this keeps on going on, many of the people that are involve would be losing respect.

there is really no contradiction. pacquiao as i see doesn't want this blood extraction too close to a fight because he feels it weakens him. floyd said that USADA is non-negotiable. when heat turns-on after so much press releases from GBP that pac is not taking the drug test (which is not true of course) pac was fed up and was forced to file a lawsuit. i guess, we cannot feel pac's pain in here unless we are on his shoes. he was set-up in a trial by publicity. it's too bad that arum is not much of a PR man.

you can say that he could have ended this all up by giving in to floyd's demands and submit to a more stringent version of drug testing. well i wish it was that easy but pac has a huge ego in itself and probably would not allow others to dictate him. i know this because if he is talking to other filipinos, in vernacular, he is saying something like to the effect of not to put too much trust on others specially foreigners. he don't like to be thought of as stupid and would not tolerate to be abused again when he was handled previously by murad. he has that much pride so i guess filing this lawsuit is a way of fighting back when floyd doesn't really intend to fight him inside the ring.

It's a simple demand no matter how you look at it, esp. when other fighters are saying what's the big deal. No one in boxing has a bigger ego than Mayweather, but I bet before this issue he gave up to Manny's demands. We could not be bias, if this fight doesn't happen it's leaning to be Manny's and his teams fault the more this issue drags on.

i respect your opinion but i disagree that pac is to blame in all of this. after all, he agreed to this additional blood testing but not the way floyd wants it. at the end of it all and if this fight doesn't get made, people will look upon both fighters resume and track record. they will see that one guy has taken more risk than the other. and one guy has fought everyone that he was supposed to fight. and that fighter would be judged more positively by the boxing fans.

    Schaefer
"Now that I've learned more about this, boxing now will have an outspoken advocate for blood testing in the sport," Schaefer said. "I plan to ask Nevada to have Travis Tygart explain why blood tests are necessary. This is not about hitting a baseball, throwing a football or hitting a puck. This is a sport that's mano-a-mano, with guys hitting each other's heads. It's important that the strongest testing possible is in place."

    ******************************************************
    Arum
"No. 2, we would agree to take the blood test in January within 30 days of the fight and any other random blood tests that the Nevada State Athletic Commission elected to do without a timeline," said Arum. "We're so confident that the Nevada Commission would do the right thing that we don't have to put a timeline in there."

Schaefer can kiss his 20% interest on PacMan good bye.
Talk about jeopardizing your own client's interests.
    Ha ha.
