he dropped martinez earlier in the fight didnt he? not a bad effort by an alcoholic, pavlik is still a pretty dangerous cat imo , hopefully geales slickness and boxing prowess would mean he could outwork and frustrate him all night , but i can see it being a really good fight, and a great scalp to add to the real deals resume if he can pull it off

SM won the first 4 rounds KP won 5,6,7 with a KD in one of those can't remember which one. SM swept the rest of the rounds. Blood pissing out of cuts into his eye. Worst cutman I've ever seen worst trainer I've ever seen. Think KP wanted the fight stopped at one stage. Im afraid''Kelly you need to double the jab'' from Loew and **** poor cutmen like Skeeter,Cletus and uncle Goober would lead to another one sided beatdown for Kelly IMO.
As was proven Pac-Marg height, reach, weight advantage mean nothing when your opponent is on a different level skillwise. Gealezaghe 120-108.:deal

The kd could be argued to have been more of a slip by Martinez.

Pav cant make 160 anymore or doesnt want to. He just left toprank, but his biggest problem is the drink.

Good fight for Geale to put on his resume.

Always thought that Pavlic had trouble ad******g when pressured and skill levels were not evident when needed.

Geale has the tools and the mental strength to work a fighter like Pavlic into a situation that benefits a thinking boxer. Pav is not that boxer.

Geale by a wide margin decision. IMO

Pirog-Geale is a very exciting prospect..never get my hopes up about anything these days but I think these are two guys who are willing to take risks and hard fights to increase their standing.

Not sure what Pavlik has left at this level...he isn't the young, hungry kid anymore..temptations outside the ring and having the money to indulge them have clearly distracted him. Plus I don't know what's doing with his weiight, there has been talk about him struggling with middle for as long as I can remember but they always seem to go back there..then roll out the excuse again.
But I wouldn't be as confident as you guys of Geale defo beating a Pavlik that can get somewhat close to his old self.
For all Kelly's shortcomings, it took a boxing master and an awkward, athletic marvel to take advantage of them.
