If the rumours come to fruition, I'd actually like to see this fight. Not that Mundine deserves a shot, easy payday for Danny really.

Agree but with a worry. Mundine has declined while Geale has gone upwards since they fought so while I would like Geale to get a good payday and beat Mundine and square the ledger theirs the possibility Mundine might catch Geale with a lucky shot and beat him.

Do you reckon there's much to worry about there with Mundine's KO rate?

It's incredibly unlikely, Geales chin is solid and his defence is very tight these days.
Mandy is not as slick as he was a few years ago, and he never could hit real hard.

This is a walk in the park for Geale. Easy pay day, easy redemption.
This fight would have been much better 6 months after their first, now it's pretty one sided.

Hopefully, he can take his feral and uneducated supporters with him into retirement.

There is a slight chance. I don't think he would but I would hate it if Mundine fluked the win.

It's not really the fight everybody wants, but to give Mundine some credit he can adapt a plan to fight each fight. Dance in and out and not let Geale fight his own fight, frustrate him and drag it out to 12 rounds.
    Geale wins.
Common sense tells you Green should've knocked Choc out but he stuck to a plan and played him like a banjo. That's what makes this fight better than some of the other options IMO.

Choc hits much harder than Geale. Geale knows how to survive when hurt and chocs not that good of a finisher. The would be close until the middle rounds then Geales youth and big engine kick in and choc shows his age. Geale on points or maybe even late stoppage.

no he cant....except to survive. he punches when its safe, and runs when its not.

his legs wont let him run in deep water any more, so he will have to rely on his chin......:yep

should be a great fight if its made. geale is a very good boxer but with no real knockout power to scare mundine away. so i cant really see geale knocking him out. geale will be busy as usual but i think mundine will be more agressive then there last fight knowing that geale will try to steal rounds with workrate. this would be a fantastic fight for aussie boxing. for geale his highest pay day by a mile with redemption and revenge for there last fight. for mundine it would also be a very good payday, a chance at a unified world champ. this would be 1 of the biggest fights in australias history

    Not a chance at MW.
Perhaps at prime SMW he did, but not now.
    True.
    Again, not a chance.
It was close the first time, they're not the same fighters they were nearly 4 years ago.
    That one is right.

Why give him the chance? O.K money but as I said Ishida had 7 K.O's when he iced the undefeated Kirkland. Mundine hasn't earned and doesn't deserve the shot at Geales titles. I would watch it don't get me wrong but would rather Geale fight others and freeze Mandy out. Fight Barker,Murray,Macklin etc or American Middleweights.

Of course I don't want the fight, this is all based on the hypothetical match.
