Having thought about this fight I agree , I was wrong , just my initial reaction (dissapointed) get his mandatory out if the way ( I didn't realise it was his mandatory either ) then onward and upwards Danny boy .

Tosser of the year goes to daniel geale.
Spent half hour on wide world of sports talking crap about how he wont do the green/mundine thing and fight no names, only wants the best...blah,blah,blah.
If you cant beat mundine you tool then dont expect any big fights.

Not overly excited about the fight, but more disappointed that this box-off involving Soliman being meant to fight Adama, is not continuing.

I was hoping for Sammy to beat Adama to get the Geale fight.

So I can't see Sam getting a chance to fight Geale in the short term.

I was reading the Ring top 10 at middleweight and Geale is ranked at number 1 after Martinez as the champion. A fight with any of the Ring top 10 is something I want to see.

That was the plot as I understood it too. But if OsumanuAdama is Daniel Geale's mandatory, so be it.

but this is true. he crapped on about only fighting Mundine if Mundine gets his ranking high enough. At that time Mundine was no5 at 160 in IBF with no 1 and 2 ranked, so he was plenty high enough. Also Mundine beat him before.

Only on the Aussie forum would people go in half cocked having a dig at Geale when he's theoretically facing his hardest test within the IBF rankings. That shitty saying of "don't hate the player, hate the game" comes to mind.

I dont mind this fight as a keep busy mandatory for Geale but hopefully he gets some better money fights for himself after this. Unknown Adama in Australia aint making the lad big money. If Adama is the best boxer in the IBF top 15 at 160 then the IBF must have some woeful rankings.

Of course they're ordinary rankings. Every sanctioning organisation has poor rankings. Gealey will still be on a handy packet with a sold out venue and the show being distributed to a number of countries.

Well i hope Geale does well for himself on the gate because he will be lucky if any country in Europe or The Americas pick this up. No big tv money in the rest of Australasia or Africa.

It's already been sold to a couple of countries in both Europe and the Americas I'm told.

Mid to late morning on a wed in Europe and in the very early hours on a wed in The Americas. Tough tough sell but good on em if they can get any country..

I suppose Gary Shaw is getting the job done there.

Maybe Gary "Site Fees" Shaw is doing his job for a change.
