Does Geale look like he can beat Martinez now, most would say no, including me. But, everyone has a weakness, and I reckon geale and his team have the ability to come up with a game plan and find that weakness. Just my opinion.
Have a look at the People that Defeated Sergio. Margarito and Williams are both volume punches. Geale may do much better than people believe.
He is definitely fighting in Australia before the year is out against someone who is in the IBF top 15 & not mandatory. So i would be leaning towards either of these 2: 12 Dominik Britsch Germany 13 Avtandil Khurtsidze Georgia
Thanks mate. They'd have to already be looking for an undercard to, any ideas who's on the short list?
He should try to unify with Sturm next year. Macklin outworked Sturm in the first 1/2 of their fight but Sturm finished the 2nd half stronger. Lucky to get the decision IMO. Sturm is ripe for the picking provided Daniel gets good judges again. Sturm-Macklin II isn't happening. http://www.badlefthook.com/2011/9/1...y-signed-december-2-fight-germany-boxing-news
I would imagine any of the active guys who train at Grange should be on the card - Pittman (if his cut is ok), Steve Lovett etc.
Sturm will stay well away from Gealzaghe unless he gets the fight made in Germany. After the ODH fight, he has always been a bit*h, too scared to fight away from home and has he ever fought a WBA mandatory? Or does the super champion just pick and choose the easiest fight from the top 15?
And Sturm only picked Mack Knife because he thought he would be another british walk over, how wrong he was :happy
