   That "****" came from the assertion someone made that Tunney ducked half the fighters of his era because he fought no black fighters.
   
   Otherwise, you're preaching to the choir. I think Tunney is vastly under-rated. I rate him over a prime Dempsey head to head, and certainly over Johnson and Jeffries.

   Tunney wasn't an awful fighter. He was a great pure boxer.
   
   Too bad he never fought a Black opponent, but oh well.
