Yes i do. Usually the prelims are pretty good or at least decent but i usually fall asleep during the main card prolly due to alcohol/weed and usually being up working since 8 AM the day before. If the main card is boring i usually end up sleeping unless there is a fight i really want to see
Oh okay. Apparently, you think you can just come here and post your general MMA thoughts that are unworthy of their own thread. The ****ing nerve of some people.
I think Nog was in the much deeper division but Hughes has the better top wins. Toughy... I think Nogueira's depth is gonna do it for me.
Yeah, Nogueira it is. The closer you look, the more obvious it is. Nog's wins over Mark Coleman, Heath Herring, Dan Henderson, Cro Cop, Werdum, Josh Barnett, Randy Couture, Tim Sylvia, Ricco Rodriguez -- compared to Hughes' Carlos Newton, Sakurai, Sherk, St. Pierre, Penn. Hughes' championship reign is nice but look at Nog's depth: Jeremy Horn Valentijn Overeem Sanae Kikuta Semmy Schilt Sergei Kharitonov Goodridge Sapp (****ing inspirational) And then Dave Herman and Schaub, both from a whole complete different generation of MMA.
Okay so help me with this. Are Dan Henderson, Shogun Rua, Wanderlei Silva, B.J. Penn, and the alformentioned Nogueira all clearly above Randy Couture, Chuck Liddell, and Hughes? As in... (I'm gonna steal McGrain's Tier system a bit) Tier 1 Georges St. Pierre Anderson Silva Fedor Emelianenko Tier 2 Dan Henderson Wanderlei Silva Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira Mauricio Rua B.J. Penn Tier 3 Chuck Liddell Randy Couture Matt Hughes How's that look? Am I giving Penn too much credit?
Agreed with poster above. You are giving Penn too much credit as well as wanderlei. Put Hughes in tier 2 and Wand and Bj in Tier 3.
